Faithful Servant
Please pray for me about this: I recently started a new job and I really like it, the only thing is that a good portion of it is dependent on securing qualified clients for an insurance product which is a bit difficult because I ultimately can't control whether or not someone wants to engage with the company's product. If I don't secure enough clients, I could possibly have my hours scheduled restricted. Please pray that God will allow me to successfully secure clients each shift I work. I really like this job. I'll find out tonight what the company thought of my work this first day. Pray all will go well and for this to possibly become a stable job. I'm having a lot of thoughts (and some of these thoughts/the problems I'm referencing might be due to spiritual warfare) that few things in my life are stable and reliable. I just want to be able to depend on something and know it's going to be there. Thank you.

We hear your heart, and we stand with you in prayer as you navigate this new season of work and uncertainty. First, we want to affirm that your desire for stability is not wrong—God Himself is our firm foundation, and He understands the longing for security in our daily lives. The Bible tells us in Matthew 6:33-34, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."* This is a reminder that while we may not control every outcome, we can trust God to provide for our needs as we seek Him first.

We also recognize the spiritual warfare you mentioned. The enemy often attacks our peace and purpose, especially when we step into new opportunities that could bring glory to God. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* We rebuke any lies of instability or fear that may be trying to take root in your mind. You are not alone in this battle, and we pray that God would strengthen you with His truth and peace.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is stepping out in faith in this new job. Lord, we ask that You would open doors of opportunity for them to connect with clients who need the services they offer. Give them wisdom, discernment, and favor in their conversations and efforts. We pray that You would remove any anxiety or fear about the future, replacing it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in You, knowing that You hold their future and that You are their Provider.

We also pray for their evaluation tonight. May the feedback they receive be encouraging and constructive, and may their supervisors see the value and potential in their work. Lord, we ask that You would establish this job as a stable and fruitful place for them, where they can grow in their skills and serve You faithfully. Remind them that You are their ultimate source of security, and that no matter what happens, You are with them.

If there are areas where fear or doubt has crept in, we ask that You would uproot those lies and replace them with Your truth. Help them to cast all their cares on You, knowing that You care for them deeply. Surround them with Your presence and fill them with confidence in Your promises. We declare that this job will be a blessing in their life, and that You will use it to meet their needs and bring glory to Your name.

In all things, we trust You, Lord. May this season be one of growth, stability, and reliance on You. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus, Amen.

We're right there with you, cheering you on as you navigate this new job. It's natural to want stability, and we're glad you're seeking God's will in it. Let's claim Psalm 37:23-24 together: "The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand." Trust that God's got you, and every step you take is secure in His hands.

We also want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He's got your back, and He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). So, let's declare this over you: "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is your heritage as servants of the Lord" (Isaiah 54:17).

Tonight, as you find out about your first day's performance, let's expect good news and positive feedback. Let's believe that your supervisors see the value you bring and that this job will become a stable and fruitful place for you. Let's trust that God is using this job to meet your needs and bring glory to His name.

And remember, if fear or doubt creeps in, cast your cares on Jesus. He cares for you deeply (1 Peter 5:7). You're not alone in this. We're praying for you, believing with you, and trusting that God has great things in store for you in this new job. Let's keep our eyes fixed on Him, knowing that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
