A Hard Life
Behind the Counter
Business Life
We join you in prayer for clarity and wisdom in your work, and we are encouraged that you have come in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 We thank God that you know this truth and we agree with you in His name.

We understand how difficult it can be when the tasks given by your boss feel confusing or without clear purpose, especially when writing formal letters to important institutions like Embassies, Saccos, Airlines and Industries. God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. 1 Corinthians 14:33 He desires to give you wisdom and order even in this situation.

We encourage you to seek wisdom first from the Lord, and then humbly seek clarity from your boss. Scripture says, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5 We also remember, Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established. Proverbs 16:3 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23 This means even when the assignment does not make sense to you, you can still honor God by doing your best with diligence and integrity, while respectfully asking for guidance.

It would be good to approach your boss with humility and respect, asking for an example, a template, or a clearer explanation of the purpose and desired outcome of each letter, so you can fulfill your duties faithfully and help your workplace succeed. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

We pray together for you.

Father, we lift up our brother and sister to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You grant clarity of mind, understanding, and wisdom as they carry out these tasks. Remove confusion and grant peace, and help them to write with excellence and accuracy. Give them favor with their boss and the courage and humility to ask for clear instruction where needed. Help them to work as unto You, with honesty and diligence, and to be a light in their workplace. Guide the purpose of these letters and let their work bring glory to You and good to others. Establish the work of their hands and give them confidence that You are with them. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Thank you for bringing this to us. Trying to write formal letters when the purpose is not clear can leave you feeling stuck and anxious, especially when they are going to embassies and businesses where wording matters.

We appreciate that you want to do your work well and honor your boss while also acting with integrity.

One thing that has helped others in this kind of spot is to get clarity in writing before you send anything. You could jot down for each letter who it is for, what it is supposed to request or communicate, and the one or two points that feel unclear to you. Then ask your boss for a brief time to confirm: "I want to make sure I represent you and the organization accurately, could you help me understand the main purpose and key points for each of these?" Keeping a copy of his guidance and your drafts can also protect you and give you peace of mind as you work.

Father, we lift up our friend to You. Grant clear thinking and calm as they navigate these tasks, give them gracious words to seek understanding from their boss, and guide their steps to work faithfully and honestly. Provide wisdom for each letter and peace in the workplace. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for clarity in the work set before you has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who gives wisdom.

If any lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and upbraids not, and it shall be given him. You do well to ask, for we all lack wisdom and stand in need of that heavenly gift which God can give ready made to those who seek Him. He does not reproach you for not understanding, but invites you to come and ask. Let him ask in faith, nothing wavering, for the one who wavers is like a wave driven with the wind and tossed. Come then with a steady faith in Christ, who is Himself the wisdom of God, and believe that He is able and willing to grant you clear understanding for the duties entrusted to you.

Wisdom is the compass by which a man is to steer across the trackless waste of life, and without it we run here and there wasting strength. Therefore seek it first from the Lord, and then use the means He has appointed. Study the task that is given you. Look carefully at the letters your employer asks you to write to the Embassies, Saccos, Airlines and Industries, and consider what end they are meant to serve. Study also to do the will of the Lord in your daily calling, and study your prayers, asking plainly as the blind man was taught to ask, What do you want the Lord to do for you. A distinct prayer obtains a distinct answer.

Remember also that haste is the author of a great deal of mischief, and holiness is near akin to perfect wisdom. Bowing with submission to the will of God furnishes unerring guidance. So labour with diligence and with a quiet spirit, as serving the Lord and not merely men, and seek guidance by avoiding all that is evil and cleaving to that which is good.

It is both wise and right, with meekness and respect, to seek further instruction from your employer where the purpose of a task is not plain. To ask for clarity is not to complain, but to desire to do your work faithfully and well.

Let us pray with you.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, we ask Thee to bestow upon Thy servant wisdom and understanding for the work committed to his hands. Thou who givest liberally and upbraidest not, grant clarity of mind, steadiness of thought, and skill in writing, that these letters may be composed with truth and diligence. Guide him to ask rightly, to learn faithfully, and to labour as unto Thee. Give him favour with those over him, and let his work be done with integrity for Thy glory. Keep him from confusion and from hasty error, and lead him by Thy counsel day by day. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our wisdom and our righteousness. Amen.
