Job situation

Beloved of All
Hello,
I posted a request for my job recently. Now the Lord told me to stay there and forgive the trouble in the past. Also, that He gave me this job. I almost fled, but the Lord warned me to stay. I am so grateful for His leading. But I still need inner healing, letting fear and mistrust go, also some time in therapy. I want to forgive my ### and work on my psychological healing and then continue in this job as long as the Lord tells me to, maybe 4-5 years. Can you please pray for me, that my ### also forgive me the anger issues I had in the past, the mistakes I made and that every accusing voice stops? Also that I can do my job in a good and responsible way, not having anger issues, not arguing with ###. And that there may be unity and misunderstandings stop. I have a PTSD issue and am very alert and not trusting others, maybe the Lord can heal me. And please pray also for my ###, that I have still favor with her, despite the mistakes I made in the past. That there may be forgiveness and a new beginning this year at my workplace. I want to keep the job and be a blessing to everyone there.

We hear your heart, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting every concern to our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus. First, we rejoice with you that the Lord has spoken clearly to you about staying in this job, confirming that He has placed you there for a purpose. His leading is a testament to His faithfulness, and we are grateful you heeded His warning. The journey of obedience is not always easy, but it is always blessed, for the Lord works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

We recognize the deep inner healing you need, and we want to encourage you that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your desire to forgive and to be forgiven is a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love, and we pray that the Holy Spirit will empower you to release every ounce of fear, mistrust, and past pain. Forgiveness is not a feeling—it is a choice, and it is a commandment from the Lord. Jesus said, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" (Matthew 6:14-15). We rebuke every spirit of unforgiveness, bitterness, and resentment in the name of Jesus, and we declare that your heart will be free to walk in the peace and love of Christ.

We also want to address the anger issues you mentioned. Scripture is clear that anger does not produce the righteousness of God (James 1:20), and we must take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). The Lord calls us to be slow to anger, for human anger does not achieve God’s righteous purpose (Ecclesiastes 7:9). We pray that the Holy Spirit will fill you with His fruit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). May the Lord give you the strength to respond with grace and wisdom, even in difficult situations, and may your words and actions reflect the character of Christ.

Your mention of PTSD and heightened alertness is not overlooked. We pray for complete healing in your mind, body, and spirit. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that every lie of the enemy that tells you that you cannot trust or that you are unsafe is broken in the name of Jesus. The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that you will experience His peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also lift up your relationship with your supervisor. It is clear that you desire reconciliation and favor, and we pray that the Lord will soften both of your hearts toward one another. May He give you the words to speak and the humility to listen, and may He restore what has been broken. The Lord is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20), and we believe He can bring unity and understanding where there has been division. We rebuke every spirit of accusation, misunderstanding, and discord in the name of Jesus, and we declare that this workplace will be a place of harmony and blessing.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for speaking so clearly to this dear one about staying in this job. Lord, we ask that You would continue to confirm Your will and give wisdom for each day. We pray for deep inner healing, Father. Touch every wound, every memory, and every fear that has taken root in this heart. Heal the PTSD, Lord, and replace the spirit of fear with Your perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). We declare that this one is not defined by past mistakes or pain, but by the blood of Jesus and the new life You have given.

Father, we ask that You would help them to forgive completely, just as You have forgiven them. Soften their heart and the heart of their supervisor, that there may be mutual forgiveness and a fresh start. We rebuke every spirit of anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness, and we declare that Your peace will reign in this workplace. Give them the strength to respond with grace, even in challenging moments, and help them to be a light and a blessing to everyone around them.

Lord, we pray for unity and understanding. Remove every misunderstanding and replace it with clarity and kindness. May this workplace be a place where Your love is evident, and may this one walk in favor with their supervisor and colleagues. We ask that You would give them the ability to do their job with excellence, responsibility, and joy. Heal their mind, body, and spirit, and let Your Holy Spirit fill them with power, love, and a sound mind.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plan for this one’s life. May they continue to seek You and walk in obedience, knowing that You are with them always. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily, spending time in His Word and in prayer. The journey of healing is a process, but the Lord is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Surround yourself with godly counsel and community, and do not hesitate to seek professional help for your psychological healing. The Lord can use all things for your good, and we believe He will restore what has been lost and bring beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3).

Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is your healer, your provider, and your peace. Walk in the confidence that He has called you, equipped you, and will sustain you in this season. You are not alone, and we stand with you in faith, believing for God’s best in every area of your life.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are deeply encouraged to hear how the Lord has been speaking to your heart and guiding your steps in this season. What a blessing it is to see His faithfulness in leading you to remain where He has placed you, even when the path felt uncertain. We rejoice with you in this confirmation of His provision and purpose for you in this job.

We continue to stand with you in prayer as you seek inner healing and wholeness. May the Lord grant you peace that surpasses understanding as you release fear and mistrust, and may His love fill every place where wounds have lingered. We pray for your time in therapy—that it would be fruitful, bringing clarity, restoration, and renewed strength in Christ. May the process of forgiveness, both for yourself and others, be gentle and guided by the Holy Spirit, so that bitterness has no foothold in your heart.

We lift up your desire to walk in unity and grace at your workplace. May the Lord soften hearts, including your own, so that misunderstandings cease and reconciliation takes root. We pray against every accusing voice, both from within and without, that it would be silenced by the truth of God’s Word and His love for you. May He heal the effects of PTSD, replacing hypervigilance with His perfect peace and restoring trust where it has been broken.

We also pray for your [supervisor/colleague], that the Lord would work in their heart as well, fostering forgiveness, favor, and a fresh start between you. May this year truly mark a new beginning—one where old wounds are healed, relationships are restored, and your work becomes a testimony of God’s grace. We ask that you would be a blessing to everyone around you, reflecting Christ’s patience, kindness, and wisdom in all you do.

If the Lord has already answered any of these prayers in ways you’ve seen, we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If there are still areas where you’re waiting, we remain committed to standing with you in prayer. May God continue to draw you closer to Himself, healing your heart and guiding your steps as you follow His Son, Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
