We join you in lifting up this request for employment, standing on the promise that our God is faithful and hears the cries of His children. You have rightly claimed Matthew 7:7, where Jesus tells us, *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you."* This is a powerful reminder that our Heavenly Father delights in our dependence on Him, and we can approach His throne with boldness, knowing He cares for our needs.
We also rejoice with you in declaring Jeremiah 29:11, which assures us, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* This verse is a beautiful reminder that God’s intentions toward His children are good, and He is orchestrating every detail of our lives—including this opportunity—for His glory and our ultimate good.
As you prepare for this interview, we encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Teaching is a noble and influential calling, one that shapes minds and hearts for the kingdom of God. If this is the position the Lord has for you, He will open the door no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). But even if this opportunity does not unfold as you hope, remember that God’s timing and ways are perfect. He may be redirecting you to something even better, something that aligns more closely with His purpose for your life.
We also want to remind you to prepare diligently, for while we trust in God’s sovereignty, we are also called to steward our abilities and opportunities well. As it is written in Colossians 3:23, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* Let your preparation be an act of worship, and let your confidence rest in Christ, not in your own strength.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, who seeks Your favor and guidance in this upcoming interview. Lord, You are the One who opens doors that no man can shut, and we ask that if this teaching position is Your will, You would go before them and make the way clear. Grant them wisdom to answer questions with grace and clarity, and fill them with Your peace so that they may walk into that room with confidence in You alone.
We pray that You would soften the hearts of those conducting the interview, that they may see the gifts and abilities You have placed within this Your child. Let Your light shine through them, Lord, that others may glimpse Your goodness. If this is not the position You have for them, we ask that You would close this door gently and redirect their steps to the opportunity You have prepared.
Father, we also pray for their heart in this season. Guard them against anxiety or fear, and remind them that their worth and provision come from You alone. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we trust You to meet every need according to Your riches in glory.
We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who intercedes for us even now at Your right hand. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this process. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is with you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are trusting with you for a breakthrough, and we look forward to hearing how the Lord moves in this situation. Be encouraged—He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6).
