Thank you for sharing your burden with us and allowing us to pray with you about your job. We join you in bringing this need before the Lord in the name of Jesus.
Christ himself invites all who labor and are heavy laden to come to him, not only to forgive sins but to give rest and to place us in true security. That security is not finally found in a position or a paycheck, though God uses our work to provide for us, but in his care and lordship over our lives. He is the shepherd who feeds and keeps his own, so that those who belong to him remain safe in his hand.
We pray for you now that God would grant you stability in your workplace, that he would give you favor with those over you, wisdom and diligence in all you do, and peace in place of anxiety. We ask that he would provide for your daily needs according to his riches, open doors where needed, and guard your heart from fear. Even as you work faithfully, may you find your deepest rest and confidence in Christ, knowing that he sees your labor and will not forsake you.
May the Lord establish the work of your hands, keep you in his protection, and give you assurance that your life is held securely by him. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our hope and salvation. Amen.
