Job Restoration

Hello,
I am ### from ###, i came in church and am back in my home land on Wednesday and we're arrived safely honour and glory be back to God in heaven. Am getting some serious setbacks at my working places no peace there's a meeting that is being held for me on 20th of this month. I don't know how the judgement is going to be this has caused anxiety. Am just praying God to give me wisdom and favor to my senior bosses. I want my job to be restored and have peace with my coworkers. May the God of Meshach Shadrach and Abednego help to overcome this obstacles in the name of Christ our saviour.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your situation before the throne of grace. First, we rejoice with you that you returned safely to your homeland, and we give all honor and glory to God for His protection over your journey. The anxiety you feel about the upcoming meeting is understandable, but we encourage you to place your trust fully in the Lord, who is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

The God of Meshach, Shadrach, and Abednego is indeed your God, and He is able to deliver you from the fiery trials you face. Just as He walked with those three young men in the furnace and preserved them unharmed, so too will He walk with you in this challenge. We pray that you would experience His peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We also ask that the Lord grant you wisdom, as He promised to Solomon, so that you may navigate this situation with discernment and favor (James 1:5).

However, we must also remind you that our access to God and His power is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through faith in Jesus, His death on the cross for our sins, and His resurrection that we are reconciled to God. If you have not already, we urge you to confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior, repenting of any sin, and committing your life to Him. Only then can you fully experience the victory and peace that He offers.

We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear that seeks to torment you, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that the Lord would soften the hearts of your senior bosses and coworkers, that they would see you through the lens of Christ’s love and grant you favor.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness in bringing ### safely home and for Your constant presence in their life. Lord, we ask that You would grant ### wisdom and favor as they face this meeting at work. Give them the words to speak and the confidence to stand firm in Your truth. We declare that You are the God who delivers, the God who restores, and the God who brings peace where there is strife. We ask that You would intervene in this situation, softening hearts and opening doors of opportunity for ###.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of anxiety, fear, and discord that seeks to disrupt ###'s peace and livelihood. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper and that You will turn this situation around for Your glory. Lord, we pray for unity and peace among ### and their coworkers, that there would be mutual respect and harmony in the workplace. We ask that You would restore what has been lost and bring about a testimony of Your goodness and power.

We also pray for ###'s spiritual walk, that they would draw closer to You, seeking Your face and Your will in all things. May they find their strength and hope in You alone, trusting that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in faith, knowing that the Lord is with you. Continue to seek Him through prayer and the reading of His Word, and trust that He will guide your steps. If there are any unconfessed sins or areas of your life that do not align with God’s will, we urge you to repent and turn away from them, for the Lord is faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and walk in the victory that He has already won for you.

We’re so glad you arrived home safely, and we join you in thanking God for that mercy. Now this work uncertainty weighs heavily, and it makes sense that the upcoming meeting has stirred up anxiety. When your livelihood and peace are at stake, the waiting is genuinely hard.

It can help to remember that God often meets us in the process, not just in a sudden turnaround. The story from the book of Daniel that you mentioned, the three young men in the furnace, didn’t end with the fire being removed before they went in. They still walked into the heat, but the One who was with them made all the difference. In the same way, Jesus doesn’t always remove the hard conversation, but He promises to be with us in it. That steady presence can quiet our hearts, even when we don’t know the outcome.

A practical step for the days ahead: invite someone you trust, a friend from church, a family member, to pray with you specifically for the meeting. Sometimes just speaking your fears aloud to another believer loosens anxiety’s grip. Then, as you prepare, write down the things you truly need to say, and ask God to give you a respectful, calm spirit. That alone is a quiet witness.

Father, thank You for bringing this brother home, and for being the God who sees him in this anxious season. Grant him the wisdom and favor he needs as he goes into that meeting. Give him a clear mind and a steady heart. We ask, if it is Your will, that his job would be restored and peace would grow among his coworkers. But no matter what comes, hold him securely and remind him that his worth is anchored in Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You speak of anxiety over a meeting that may decide your earthly standing, and your heart is troubled. This is a common snare, yet it need not hold you captive. Have you not read, “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You: because he trusts in You”? That peace is not the absence of storm but the presence of a steadfast trust. The very anxiety that rises from your difficulty unfits you to meet it; it is like a fever that weakens the patient before the crisis. Cast this burden upon the Lord. He who delivered the three faithful ones from the fiery furnace is able to carry you through the heat of this trial.

You desire wisdom and favor from your senior bosses. True wisdom is not the cunning of the world, nor the clearing up of every mystery. A grain of divine grace is worth more than a ton of worldly knowledge. If you have but a spark of faith in Christ, you possess what opens the door to the path of wisdom, though that path is often hidden from the keenest eye of human reason. Seek not to understand all the why and wherefore; bow before the Lord as Job did, confessing, “I have uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.” In that posture, God gives favor that no earthly power can withhold.

Do you not remember the latter end of Job? His restoration was not merely to his former state, but a great increase. The Lord can give you peace with your coworkers, restore your standing, and cause you to find rest even amidst thronging duties. But this comes not by fretting. “He shall thrust out your enemies before you,” and lead you in triumph. The meeting on ### is but a circumstance in His hand. Your part is to trust, to do justly, and to commit the outcome to Him.

Let your prayer be not only for a change of circumstance but for a heart abiding in Jesus. When the mind is stayed on Him, perfect peace, peace, peace, is the portion of the soul, whether the storm rages or calms. That peace whispers through the blood of the cross, “It is enough: earth’s struggles soon shall cease, and Jesus calls us to Heaven’s perfect peace.” Meanwhile, rest in the Divine love, and go forward without fear, for He who is your God will not fail you.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. The turmoil you describe is not first a meeting of men, but a war within your own soul. You ask for wisdom and favor from your superiors, yet the greater need is for peace with God and mastery over the anxiety that now consumes you. For what advantage is it if the world grants you a quiet workplace, but you remain at war with yourself? The meeting on the ### day holds no terror for the one whose heart is guarded by the peace that passes all understanding. That peace is not the absence of conflict, but the stillness of a soul anchored in Christ, who commands you to be at peace even with those who oppose you.

You recall the three holy children, and rightly so. Meshach, Shadrach, and Abednego stood before the furnace not because they had secured the king’s favor, but because they would not bend the knee to the idol. They entrusted the outcome to God, saying, “He will deliver us; but if not, we will not serve your gods.” That is the faith you need now. The threat to your livelihood is a furnace kindled by the enemy, whose aim is not to strip you of a paycheck, but to compel you to utter some blasphemy, whether of despair, bitterness, or compromise. Do not let anxiety disfigure the beauty of a soul that trusts in God. That inner beauty is imperishable; no meeting, no judgment, no coworker’s malice can touch it unless you surrender it.

Therefore, first make war upon your own passions: the fear of man, the love of ease, the craving for human approval. When these are cut off, you will find a peace that no earthly verdict can disturb. Pray not merely for restoration of a job, but for holiness without which no one will see the Lord. If it is God’s will that you remain, He will give you favor. If He permits a different path, He remains your portion. In either case, do not let this outward war pierce your soul with the death that leads to hell. Keep the peace of Christ within, and nothing from without will be able to harm you.

What you are facing right now feels enormous, and the uncertainty of that upcoming meeting can flood the heart with anxiety. That kind of weight is not foreign to Scripture. In fact, the whole book of Job shows a man who lost nearly everything and sat in confusion while others misjudged his situation. Job had no idea that a controversy in heaven had taken place, where God was confident in his servant's integrity and Satan insisted Job only served God because of the blessings he enjoyed. God permitted the trial, and Job never understood the full behind-the-scenes story while he was in the middle of it.

Three friends came to him with a simple, yet mistaken, philosophy: they believed suffering always pointed to some hidden sin. They urged Job to just get right with God and then everything would be fine. But Job knew his heart, and deep down he clung to something true even when his mind was reeling: God is fair, God is just. That is a foundational truth you can hold onto now. The anxiety you feel does not mean God has turned against you or that you have done something to forfeit His care. Sometimes, like Job, we walk through setbacks that serve purposes far beyond what our eyes can see.

In the middle of his pain, Job cried out for a mediator, someone who could lay a hand on both God and man and bridge the gap. He longed for a daysman. That cry finds its answer in Jesus Christ, who stands between you and the Father, full of grace and truth. Through Him, you can approach your senior bosses and that meeting with the confidence that you are not facing it alone. God gives wisdom generously to those who ask. The fear of the Lord, that reverent trust in Him, is the very beginning of wisdom, and turning away from evil is understanding. Ask Him for clarity of mind, for calm speech, and for the favor that opens doors no human argument can unlock.

Notice that Job’s eventual restoration did not come because his friends’ accusations were true and he cleaned up a secret sin. It came after he encountered the living God and learned to trust His wisdom even without a full explanation. God gave back what was lost, and more. Bring your fears to Him honestly, as Job did, even when your words stumble. Ask for restoration not just of your position but of peaceful relationships with your coworkers. Remember how the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego walked with them in the fire. He can walk with you through this meeting and beyond. Trust His hidden purposes, and let your heart rest in the One who saw what Job could not and who sees what no human eye can detect in your workplace right now.
