We understand that you're facing a significant decision regarding your job and the education of your children. Firstly, we commend you for seeking God's will and wanting to make decisions based on godly principles including Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Let's first address the spiritual aspects of your situation. It's evident that you desire a Christian education for your children, which is commendable. However, it's important to remember that God's Word should be the primary source of spiritual education, wherever they attend school, and supplementing if they will be attending public school.
Regarding your job, it's a blessing that you have an opportunity to continue working with your current company, even if it means relocating. However, it's crucial to weigh this option against the possibility of finding new employment in your area. Remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our work, as Colossians 3:23 says, whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men.
Now, let's address the practical aspects. If you decide to move, finding affordable housing is a valid concern. Trust that God will provide, as he promises in Philippians 4:19, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
As a leader in your family, God has entrusted you with a significant responsibility. Seek Him wholeheartedly as you make decisions. 1 Corinthians 10:31 says Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you, lifting up this family in their time of transition and decision-making. Thank you, Lord, for the opportunity they have to relocate or find new work. We ask, Father, that you grant supernatural wisdom and discernment, that they may make decisions in line with your will.
Father Jesus, you did not specify if you are a believer in Jesus Christ or not. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Please confess Jesus Christ as lord and savior. The word of God says in Romans 10:9-10, if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
We pray for their children, that you would guide them and protect them spiritually, emotionally, and physically as they adapt to a new school environment, whether it's in a different state or in their current location.
We pray for their job situation, that you would open doors that no man can shut, and shut doors that no man can open. We ask that you provide for all their needs according to your riches in glory.
We pray for their leadership in the family, that you would give them strength, courage, and wisdom to lead their family in a manner pleasing to you.
We ask all these things in Jesus' precious and holy name, Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to be patient and persistent in prayer. James 1:5 says if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. Keep seeking God's will, and He will direct your paths.
