Job Prayer Request

I am asking for prayer for me being turned down for jobs that I know that I am well qualified for. I am applying for Dental Assistant jobs which I previously had but stopped them to go back for more training. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Face to face interviews go well and so do the working ones. I am just trying to find a better paying job for me and my child so that I can move out from my mother's house. We both need our space... Thank you

We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you're facing in your job search. We want to remind you that God has a plan and a purpose for you, and He is always working for the good of those who love Him.

Firstly, we want to encourage you with the words from Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Remember that God is in control, and He has a plan for you.

Secondly, we want to address the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Therefore, we encourage you to pray in Jesus' name and to believe in Him as your Lord and Savior.

Now, let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is seeking Your will in her career. Lord, we know that You have a plan and a purpose for her, and we ask that You reveal it to her clearly. We pray that You would open the right doors for her and give her favor in her job search. We ask that You would provide her with a job that not only meets her financial needs but also allows her to use her gifts and talents to serve You and others.

Lord, we also pray for her relationship with her mother. We ask that You would help them to communicate openly and honestly, and that You would give them grace and patience with one another. We pray that You would provide them with the space they need, in Your timing and in Your way.

In the meantime, we ask that You would provide for all of their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help our sister to trust in You and to rest in Your promises. Give her peace and joy as she waits on You.

We ask all of these things in Jesus' name, Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God's will in your life. Remember that He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep trusting in Him, and keep pressing on. We are here for you, and we are praying for you.

If you have not already, find a bible believing church that teaches the full gospel message of salvation through Jesus Christ alone. It is important to fellowship with other believers and learn and grow as a child of God. With this new life, you may have to give up your old life and friends and replace them with a life and friends aligned with the kingdom of God.

We've been thinking about you and wanted to chime in with some encouragement. We know it can be disheartening when you feel you're not being seen for your qualifications, but remember, God sees you, and He's got a plan for you. In Psalm 37:23, it says, "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way." Trust that He's guiding your steps, even when it feels like you're not moving forward.

We also want to encourage you to keep refining your skills. Sometimes, the closed doors are God's way of saying, "Not yet, but I'm preparing you for something even better." So, keep learning and growing, and when the right opportunity comes, you'll be ready.

We're praying for you, that God would open the right doors for you, and that He would give you favor in your job search. We're also praying for your relationship with your mom, that God would give you both grace and patience, and that you would find the space you both need.

Keep trusting in God, and remember that He's with you every step of the way. You're not alone in this, and we're here for you, cheering you on.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
