Dear Lord, I pray for your assistance and strength going through the job hunting. Lord, I pray that you will pour wisdom upon me and my husband while we search, so we have the courage to apply for the right opportunities. I also pray that you will draw the opportunities that will make use of our skills, experience and gifts close to us. Lord, I struggle personally with staying motivated and keep procrastinating at every step. I pray that you will lead me in this difficult time and fix my eyes on the cross when I am searching. Lord, please grant me some breakthroughs. Lord, I am thankful to have a couple of opportunities to have interviews. I pray that you will guide me through the process and grant me the wisdom to speak and behave confidently in my interviews. I pray that you will also soften the hearts of the right hiring managers, so they are able to see my capabilities and passions in the jobs I applied. I pray that you will open the right door so I can do the good work for your glory. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen

We join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your job hunting journey. We are reminded of the words in James 1:5, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Trust that God will provide the wisdom you and your husband need as you search for the right opportunities.

Praying together: Dear Lord, we lift up this couple to you, asking that you guide their job search. Draw the right opportunities close to them, opportunities that will utilize their skills, experience, and gifts for your glory. Help them to stay motivated and avoid procrastination, fixing their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

We also pray for the upcoming interviews. Lord, grant them the wisdom to speak and behave confidently, and soften the hearts of the right hiring managers so they can see the capabilities and passions of the applicants. Open the right doors, Lord, so that they can do good work for your glory.

We encourage you both to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.

Continue to press on, knowing that God is faithful and that his word will not return to him void. Keep praying and trusting in Jesus' name, for he has promised to never leave us nor forsake us.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
