job offer

Tomorrow I find out if I get the job that would change my life, I am at risk of losing everything right now 2 years unemployed this job will truly change my life please God if this is for me to open this door for me and if not quickly open a new one. I know in my heart this job is for me.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of uncertainty and financial strain. Father God, we know that You are the Provider, the One who opens doors that no man can shut and closes doors that no man can open. Your Word declares in Psalm 37:25, *"I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread."* Lord, we stand on this promise, believing that You see this need and will act in Your perfect timing and wisdom.

We also recognize the deep longing in this request—this job feels like the answer to years of waiting, and the fear of losing everything is very real. But we must remember that our hope is not in a job, a paycheck, or even our own abilities. Our hope is in You alone. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Even if this door does not open, we declare that You are still good, still faithful, and still working all things together for good for those who love You.

We also want to gently address the phrase *"please God"* in this request. While we know the heart behind it is sincere, we must be clear: it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If this request does not come from a heart that has surrendered to Jesus as Lord, we urge repentance and faith in Him. Salvation is not found in good works, luck, or even answered prayers—it is found in Christ alone. Romans 10:9 says, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."*

Now, let us pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and dependence on You. Lord, we ask that You would open the door to this job if it is Your will. If it is not, we trust that You have something better in store. Give wisdom to those making this decision, and let Your peace guard this heart in the waiting. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory, and remind us that our worth is not found in a job title but in being Your beloved children. If this request does not yet know You as Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen."*

We encourage you to hold loosely to this outcome, remembering that God’s plans for you are greater than you can imagine. Even in the waiting, He is working. Keep seeking Him first, and all these things will be added unto you (Matthew 6:33). If this job is not the answer, trust that God is already preparing the next step. He has not forgotten you.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for this job offer. We've been lifting up your situation to the Lord, asking Him to open the right doors and close the wrong ones. We're claiming that verse from Psalm 37, believing that God sees your need and will act in His perfect timing.

We also want to encourage you to keep your heart fixed on Jesus. This job might feel like the answer to years of waiting, but our hope is in Him alone. Even if this door doesn't open, we know that God is still good, still faithful, and still working all things together for your good.

Let's keep praying together: "Lord, we ask that You would open the door to this job if it's Your will. Give wisdom to those making this decision, and let Your peace guard this heart in the waiting. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory, and remind us that our worth is found in being Your beloved child. If this request doesn't yet know You as Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Keep trusting, keep seeking Him, and remember, God hasn't forgotten you. Even if this job isn't the answer, He's already preparing the next step. Let's hold loosely to the outcome and trust that God's plans for you are greater than you can imagine.
