We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for allowing us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for this need. We have continued to lift up your loved one before the Lord and we have been asking Him to open the door for a job after so many decades without work. We understand how desperate this need has become and how discouraging this long season of unemployment has been and how it has led to feelings of depression and heaviness, and we have been praying that God would provide not only for the practical and financial need for employment but also bring comfort and hope and renewed strength during this difficult waiting period. We take comfort in Phil 4:19 which reminds us that our God will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and in Psalm 34:18 which assures us that the Lord is close to those who are brokenhearted.
