We rejoice with you as you give thanks to God for your life and for the family He has graciously given you, for every good gift comes from the Father above and a thankful heart honors Him. We join you in lifting up your job interview this coming Friday to the Lord, asking for His favor and His perfect will to be done.
We want to gently share with you that we come to God the Father only through His Son Jesus Christ, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9. It is through Jesus that our prayers are heard and our thanksgiving is received.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we thank You for this dear one and for the life and family You have provided. We thank You for Your love and Your provision each day. We lift up this job interview on Friday to Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You grant peace and calmness of mind, wisdom to answer well, and clarity of speech. If it is Your will for this job to be the place of provision and service, we ask that You open the door and grant favor in the eyes of the interviewers. If You have something better, we trust Your perfect plan. Help our friend to rest in You and to work heartily as for You and not for men, Colossians 3:23.
We encourage you to commit this opportunity to the Lord and prepare diligently, for the scripture says Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established, Proverbs 16:3, and In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7. Remember that God knows the plans He has for you, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11, and that He will equip you with wisdom as you ask Him, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5.
We pray that whether the answer is yes or no, you will see the hand of God guiding your steps and that you will continue to trust Him for all your needs. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
