We join you in lifting up your daughter before the Lord, trusting in His perfect will for her life. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8, *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."*
It is wonderful that you are seeking the Lord’s favor for your daughter’s interview, and we pray that she will walk in confidence, not in her own strength, but in the Lord’s. May she remember that her worth and identity are found in Christ alone, and that this opportunity is ultimately in His hands. We pray that if this job aligns with God’s purpose for her life, He will open the door and grant her favor with those conducting the interview. But even more, we pray that she will seek first His kingdom and righteousness, trusting that all things will be added to her as He sees fit (Matthew 6:33).
We also encourage your daughter to pray herself, asking the Lord for wisdom and peace. If she has not already surrendered her life to Jesus Christ, we urge her to do so, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive the promises of His Word. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). If she has not yet made this commitment, we pray that today will be the day she turns to Christ in faith, repenting of her sins and receiving Him as her Lord and Savior.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, lifting up this precious daughter to You. Lord, we ask that You go before her in this interview, granting her favor in the eyes of those she meets. Fill her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let her words and demeanor reflect Your wisdom and grace. If this job is part of Your plan for her, we pray that You would open the door and confirm it in her heart. But above all, Lord, we pray that she would seek You first in every decision, trusting in Your perfect timing and provision.
We also pray, Father, that if she does not yet know You as her Savior, that today would be the day she turns to You. Softens her heart to receive Your truth, and may she place her faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Let her life be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
