We understand that you're seeking prayer for your upcoming job interview on Tuesday. Firstly, we want to encourage you and remind you that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our careers. It's wonderful that you're reaching out for prayer, but we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It's important to remember that it is through Jesus that we have access to God, as it says in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let's pray together for your interview:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is preparing for their job interview on Tuesday. We know that every good gift comes from You, and that You have a plan and purpose for each of our lives.
Father, we ask that You guide the conversation during the interview, and give our brother/sister the wisdom and discernment to respond to each question with confidence and clarity. As it says in James 1:5 WEB, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."
We pray that Your will be done in this situation. If this job is in line with Your purpose for our brother/sister's life, we ask that You open the doors and make a way, even if it seems impossible. But if this job is not Your will, we pray that You close the doors and guide our brother/sister to the right path.
We also pray for the interview panel, that You would grant them discernment and wisdom to make the right decision.
Finally, Father, we ask that You grant our brother/sister peace during this time. Cast out all fear and anxiety, and replace it with Your perfect peace, as it says in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Remember, God is in control, and He has a plan for your life. Trust in Him, and don't be anxious about the interview. Instead, rest in the knowledge that God is working everything out for your good, as it says in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Lastly, we want to encourage you to always include the name of Jesus in your prayers, as it is through Him that we have access to God. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not already, consider putting your faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins and your eternity.
