We lift up your niece before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to guide her steps and open the right doors for her in this time of need. The scriptures remind us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that she would lean fully on the Lord, trusting Him to provide not just any job, but the one He has prepared for her.
Father, we ask that You grant her favor in the eyes of those conducting the interview. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind as she prepares and steps into this opportunity. We know that You are a God who sees and cares for the vulnerable, and we trust You to provide for her and her unborn child. Psalm 37:25 says, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." We stand on this promise, believing You will meet every need according to Your riches in glory.
We also want to gently address the importance of seeking the Lord’s will in all things, including this job opportunity. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name we pray. Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If your niece does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray she would come to understand the depth of His love and the salvation He offers. Without Him, we are lost, but in Him, we find hope, purpose, and provision.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold of her heart. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). We pray that this interview would be a stepping stone to the future You have planned for her, one filled with Your blessings and provision. May she walk in confidence, knowing that You go before her and are her ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also lift up her unborn child, asking for Your protection and provision over both of their lives. May this season of waiting be one where she draws closer to You, learning to rely on Your strength and grace. We pray for wisdom for her as she prepares for motherhood, that she would raise this child in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).
Father, we ask that You would soften the hearts of those interviewing her, that they would see her potential and the gifts You have placed within her. Let this job be a place where she can grow, thrive, and glorify You in all she does. We trust that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28), and we pray she would rest in that truth.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
