Job in abroad

Disciple of Prayer
Jesus, help me to get job opportunity in abroad places, which is meant for me. Help me to find a suitable man who can walk with me throughout my life.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of seeking His will for your life, lifting up your desires for both a job abroad and a godly husband. It is good that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We rejoice that you have placed your trust in Christ, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

First, let us address your desire for a job abroad. We pray that the Lord will open doors for you in accordance with His perfect will, not just for your benefit but for His glory. Remember that whatever work you do, you are to do it heartily, as for the Lord and not for men (Colossians 3:23). If it is God’s will for you to work abroad, He will provide the opportunity in His timing. Seek Him first, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33). We also encourage you to be content in whatever circumstances you find yourself, trusting that God is sovereign over every detail of your life (Philippians 4:11-13). If this desire stems from a longing for greater provision or adventure, surrender it fully to the Lord, asking that His will—not yours—be done.

Now, regarding your request for a husband, we must carefully align this desire with Scripture. Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God, a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). It is not merely about companionship but about reflecting Christ’s love for His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We encourage you to seek a *godly husband*—a man who loves the Lord with all his heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37), who will lead you spiritually, and who shares your faith in Christ. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship does light have with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14). If you are not already doing so, we urge you to pray for your future husband’s spiritual growth, purity, and preparation, even as you prepare yourself to be a wife who honors God.

We also want to gently but firmly address something critical: if you are currently in any relationship that is not honoring to God—whether physical intimacy outside of marriage, emotional attachments that distract from purity, or relationships that do not align with biblical marriage—we urge you to repent and turn away from such things. Fornication and sexual immorality are sins against your own body and against God (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). Flee from these things and pursue holiness, for without it, no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). If you are in a relationship with someone who is not a believer or who does not share your commitment to Christ-centered marriage, we strongly encourage you to end that relationship, trusting God to provide a spouse who will honor Him.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up your daughter before You, asking that You guide her steps in every area of her life. Lord, if it is Your will, open doors for her to find meaningful work abroad—a position that aligns with Your purposes and allows her to glorify You. Give her wisdom to recognize Your leading and the courage to follow, even if it means waiting or taking a different path than she expects. Provide for her needs, Father, and let her trust in You grow deeper each day.

We also pray for her future husband, Lord. Prepare him to be a man after Your own heart, one who will love her as Christ loves the Church—sacrificially, faithfully, and selflessly. Raise up a godly man who is grounded in Your Word, filled with Your Spirit, and committed to leading his home in righteousness. Protect your daughter from relationships that would distract her from Your best, and guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. If there is any sin in her life—any compromise or ungodly attachment—convict her by Your Spirit and lead her to repentance. Purify her, Lord, and make her a vessel fit for Your use.

Father, we ask that You would shape her desires to match Yours. Teach her to delight in You above all else, so that the longings of her heart are fulfilled in You first (Psalm 37:4). Let her find her joy and satisfaction in Christ alone, knowing that You are her ultimate Provider and Protector. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and help her to walk in obedience, trusting that You will fulfill Your promises in Your perfect timing.

We rebuke any fear, doubt, or impatience that may rise up in her heart. Let her rest in Your sovereignty, knowing that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). Surround her with godly counsel and community that will encourage her in her walk with You. And above all, Lord, let her life be a testimony of Your grace, love, and faithfulness.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting up your desires to the Lord. It's wonderful to see your heart yearning for both a job abroad that aligns with God's will and a godly husband who will walk beside you through life. Let's continue to seek God's face together.

For that job opportunity abroad, we trust that God knows your heart's desire and will open the right doors at the right time. Remember, it's not just about the job itself, but about using your gifts and talents to glorify God. As it says in Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." So, keep seeking Him, and trust that He will provide in His perfect timing.

And about finding a suitable man, we join you in praying for a godly husband who will love and honor the Lord above all else. We should always be in prayer for our future spouse, just as we pray for our own spiritual growth. As you wait, focus on growing in your relationship with Christ and being the woman He's called you to be. Remember, God is faithful, and He will not leave you alone in this journey.

Let's also take a moment to encourage you to walk in holiness, sister. If there are any areas in your life that don't align with God's standards, now is the time to repent and turn away from them. We all fall short, but it's important to keep our hearts and minds pure, seeking to honor God in every area of our lives.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our sister to You. Lord, we ask that You would guide her steps, both in finding meaningful work abroad and in finding a godly husband who will love and honor You. Give her wisdom to recognize Your leading and the courage to follow, even if it means waiting or taking a different path than she expects. Provide for her needs, Father, and help her to trust in You to grow deeper each day.

We also pray for her future husband, Lord. Prepare him to be a man after Your own heart, one who will love her as Christ loves the Church - sacrificially, faithfully, and selflessly. Raise up a godly man who is grounded in Your Word, filled with Your Spirit, and committed to leading his home in righteousness. Protect her from relationships that would distract her from Your best, and guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Convict her by Your Spirit, Lord, if there is any sin in her life. Purify her, and make her a vessel fit for Your use. Teach her to delight in You above all else, so that the longings of her heart are fulfilled in You first. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and help her to walk in obedience, trusting that You will fulfill Your promises in Your perfect timing.
