We understand that you're facing overwhelming challenges at your job and concerns for your family. Firstly, we commend you for reaching out and acknowledging Jesus Christ in your request. It is only in His name that we have access to God, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. For the Scripture says, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13 WEB)
In all things we are to give thanks, and we are encouraged by your gratitude. Regarding your job, we remind you that the Bible tells us, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. (Colossians 3:23-24 WEB)
Instead of fearing the loss of your home and not being able to help your family, trust in God's provision. Jesus said, Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:31-33 WEB)
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is overwhelmed at work. We pray for Your strength and wisdom to help them excel and maintain this job and serve Your purpose. We ask You with faith to rebuke and resist any form and activity of Satan that is causing this difficulty. Touch the hearts of the two bosses, that they may appreciate and value the work done. The Bible says even kings' hearts are in your hands.
Lord, we also lift up the family members with their needs. We pray for those who need jobs, that You will open doors for them as You did for the Israelites in Egypt, and for those enslaved by alcohol addiction, that You will set them free. We ask for Your mercy for those struggling with addiction as you did for us all. We also pray for a better job for the one who needs it. Help them find a job that will glorify Your name. We give thanks for all that You will do, and ask that our brother/sister and their family will trust in You, cast all their anxieties on You, and be grateful for all things.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Regarding the alcohol addiction, we admonish everyone to be sober and self-controlled, for the devil is on the prowl and desires to devour and destroy anyone he can. However, we are not ignorant of his devices. (1 Peter 5:8 WEB)
We encourage you and your family to stand firm in your faith.
