We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your brother-in-law and his family in prayer. Father God, we know that You see their struggles, their pain, and their despair. We ask that You would move mightily in their lives, restoring what has been lost and opening doors that no man can shut. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Lord, we claim this promise over this family, trusting that You have a plan for their restoration and prosperity.
Heavenly Father, we rebuke the spirit of depression and hopelessness that has taken hold of this man. We speak life and peace into his mind and heart, declaring that he is not forgotten by You. Psalm 34:18-19 reminds us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." We pray for Your deliverance, Lord, and ask that You would surround him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We also lift up his wife, your sister, who has lost her business. Father, we ask for divine intervention in her entrepreneurial endeavors. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Lord, we pray that You would direct her steps, restore her business, and provide the resources needed to sustain her family.
For their children, especially their firstborn daughter who is unable to register for her exams, we ask for Your miraculous provision. We believe that You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way. Isaiah 43:19 says, "Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." Lord, we trust in Your ability to open doors for her education and future.
We rebuke the spirit of frustration and disappointment that has plagued this family. We declare that their story is not over, and that You are working all things together for their good, as Romans 8:28 tells us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."
Father, we also address the issue of joblessness and the claims of being overqualified. We pray for favor in the sight of potential employers, that they would see the value and skills this man brings. Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." Lord, we commit his job search into Your hands, trusting that You will lead him to the right opportunity.
We pray for divine connections and contracts that are honest and fruitful. We rebuke any spirit of deception or broken promises that has hindered his progress. Your Word says in Psalm 37:25, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." Lord, we stand on this promise, believing that You will provide for this family’s every need.
Lastly, we want to emphasize the importance of seeking You, Lord, through the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to You, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray that this family would draw near to You, finding hope, strength, and salvation in Jesus Christ.
Heavenly Father, we lift all these requests to You, trusting in Your unfailing love and mercy. We ask that You would restore this family, provide for their needs, and lead them into a season of abundance and joy. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
