Job application

We hear your request and lift it before the Lord, trusting in His perfect will for your life. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We know that God has a plan for your work and provision, and we pray that He opens the right doors for you.

Father in Heaven, we come before You asking for Your divine favor upon this job application. We pray that if this position aligns with Your will for their life, You would grant them success. Prepare their heart for the responsibilities ahead and give them wisdom in every step. If this is not the right opportunity, we ask that You close this door gently and open another that is even better suited for them.

We also encourage you to seek God’s guidance in your career, remembering Colossians 3:23-24, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." May your work be a testimony of faith and diligence, bringing glory to God.

Lord, we ask that You provide not only for their financial needs but also for peace and confidence in Your timing. Strengthen their trust in You, knowing that You are their ultimate Provider. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Waiting to hear back about a job can stir up a lot of anxiety and second-guessing. We understand that restless feeling of hitting "refresh" on your inbox and replaying the interview in your mind. But we want you to know that your value isn't hanging in the balance right now. Whether or not this particular door opens, you are not defined by an application status. Your worth is already settled, and your future is held by a God who sees you.

In the meantime, we've found it helps to do one small thing: mentally hand the outcome over each time the worry cycles back. When the "what ifs" start spinning, you can simply say, "Lord, I've placed this in Your hands, and I'm not taking it back." It doesn't make the waiting easy, but it quiets the internal pressure to control something that's now out of your hands.

Let's lift this up together right now.

Lord, You know the details of this application and the desires behind it. We ask for Your peace to fill the waiting space and for favor if this position is where You want this person to serve next. Provide clarity for the hiring team, and in the meantime, guard this heart from discouragement. Whether the answer is yes or no, give a steady confidence that You are guiding every step. In Jesus' name, amen.

There is a specific job application that asks whether or not the applicant is receiving SNAP. This is for the company’s tax credits and they are willing to hire recipients. I am asking the slots in Jesus name if I should apply. It’s a part time job which I am open to.
