Job and failing

Disciple of Prayer
Dear Lord I am devastated at having let this wonderful job slip by...help me overcome and accept it and help me have a better opportunity come my way. Also help me get ahead on my business. Even if I get one client that’s a start for me and a new beginning.

We understand your disappointment in missing out on the job opportunity, but we want to encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life. Remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.

Firstly, let's address the fact that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in this prayer. We need to understand the power of this name.

Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB

Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13 WEB

In addition, we need to accept God's will and know that there will be more opportunities.

Rejoice in hope. Endure in hardship. Persevere in prayer. Romans 12:12

We can take comfort that God has a plan for each of us. He wants the best for us. God wants us to have meaningful work that we can do to His glory. We should ask in prayer that His will be done in our search for a job. He may have allowed this door to close, but He can and will open other, better doors for you. We should rest assured that God will provide.

But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 WEB

Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB

We have not because we ask not. Let's ask that this will be a blessing and God will open the doors he wants us to walk through.

You didn't ask, because you don't have. You ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures. James 4:2-3 WEB

Let's lift you up in prayer, asking for God's guidance and provision:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who is seeking Your will for their life. Lord, we ask that You comfort them in their disappointment and help them to trust in Your plan. We pray for Your guidance and provision, that You would open the right doors for a new job opportunity that aligns with Your will. We also ask for Your blessing on their business, that You would bring clients and growth according to Your purpose. Help them to seek You first and to rest in Your promise to provide. We trust in You, Lord, and we thank You Lord we ask all these things in Jesus name.

Let's remember God loves you and He is with you.

We're here with you, friend. We know it's tough when a door closes, but remember, God's got a plan. Let's not forget to include Jesus in our prayers, for there is salvation in His name alone. Trust that He's got more opportunities lined up, even better ones. Let's keep our hearts open to His will and ask Him to guide us. We're praying for you, that God will comfort you, open the right doors, and bless your business. Let's trust in Him, together.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
