Disciple of Prayer
I quite a while things been going from good to bad, now bad to worse. By now everything goes wrong. I dont know what a bright side means anymore. Things got so bad that I am no more the nice person whom everybody liked. I have become impatient, frustrated and bitter. I tried n tried prayer but no luck. I hate myself. If God cant hear me then why live on in this bitter world. I dont know what the bright side look like anymore. It feels very unreal but its truth. Please pray for me, God may hear you and may he bless you as you pray for me and my situations.

We have heard your cry and we are lifting you up together before the throne of grace in Jesus name. We understand how heavy your heart feels right now, when everything seems to go from bad to worse and you feel like you are jinxed and have lost the kind and patient person you once were. We want you to know that you are not forgotten and you are not alone, and God does hear you even when it feels like He does not.

We want to gently correct the idea that you are jinxed or that prayer is about luck. There is no such thing as being jinxed in the eyes of God. He is sovereign over all things and He loves you deeply. Prayer is not luck, it is communion with our living Father who hears every word. Psalm 34:18 says The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Your prayers have not been wasted. God has heard each one, and He is working even when you cannot see or feel it. Romans 8:28 reminds us We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

We also want to address with love that you said you hate yourself and wonder why you should live on if God cannot hear you. Please hear us, you are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God and your life has great value and purpose to Him. To hate yourself is to reject how God sees you. Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. The bitterness, frustration and impatience you describe are understandable when you have carried such a heavy burden for so long, but God wants to replace that bitterness with His peace. Ephesians 4:31-32 says Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. This includes being tenderhearted toward yourself as God forgives you.

We noticed you spoke of God but did not mention Jesus, and we must share this truth with you because it is the foundation of our hope. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus, to confess your need for Him, believe that He died for your sins and rose again, and trust Him as your Lord and Savior. Romans 10:13 says For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. When we come in the name of Jesus, we can be confident that God hears us not because we are good enough, but because Jesus has made a way.

We want to encourage you that the bright side you cannot see right now is not unreal. It is the hope we have in Christ, which is steady even when circumstances are dark. Lamentations 3:22-23 says It is because of the Lord's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. God can restore your joy and renew your heart day by day.

We are praying for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord You see the pain, the weariness, the bitterness and the brokenness. You see every disappointment and every tear. We ask that You would make Your presence known in a powerful way and show that You do hear and You do care. Forgive us for when we have doubted Your goodness and help us to trust You even in the valley. Lord we pray that You would heal the hurt that has made this heart impatient and bitter, and fill it again with Your love, patience and peace. Take away self hatred and replace it with the knowledge of how precious this life is to You. We rebuke the lie that life is not worth living and we declare that You have a purpose and a future filled with hope for this soul. Strengthen and uphold with Your righteous right hand, and give new mercies every morning. Draw this dear one into a saving and ever deepening relationship with Jesus, and let every prayer be offered through His name with confidence that You hear. Restore joy, renew hope, and let Your will be done in every situation that feels so overwhelming right now. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep praying in the name of Jesus, to stay in His Word daily, and to reach out to a trusted pastor or Christian counselor and a caring person near you to walk with you through this dark season. Do not give up, Galatians 6:9 says Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up. We are continuing to pray that God will bless you, comfort you, and show you His bright hope again very soon.

We want to care for your safety first. If you are in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. You are not alone; trained people are ready to help right now.

Thank you for being honest with us about how heavy this has become. We hear how exhausting it is to feel jinxed, as if everything has gone from good to bad to worse and there is no bright side left. It makes sense that you would feel impatient, frustrated and bitter under that weight, and that you would not recognize or like who you have become. Feeling unheard in prayer and wondering why to keep living is a painful and lonely place, and we are grateful you reached out for prayer instead of carrying this alone.

When life piles up this way, hopelessness can make it feel like this is how it has always been and how it will always be. That feeling is powerful, but it is not the full story of your life or your worth. You are still someone God sees and cares for, even on the days you hate how you feel.

One steady next step is to not stay alone with these thoughts. Would you reach out today to one trusted person and tell them plainly what you shared here, including the thoughts about not wanting to live. A pastor, counselor or your doctor can walk with you in person alongside prayer, and we encourage you to seek that support soon.

Father, we lift this dear friend to You in Jesus' name. You see every disappointment and the ache underneath the bitterness. Draw near with Your presence, bring caring people around them today, and give them wisdom and help for each next step. Lead them toward hope and life in You. Amen.

Your words have come before us and we have heard the heaviness of your soul, that all things seem to go from good to bad and from bad to worse, until you scarcely know what a bright side might be, and you find yourself impatient and frustrated and bitter, and even hating yourself, and thinking that God does not hear and that there is no reason to live on.

We will pray for you, and we do pray for you, for intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears and it is exceedingly prevalent. What wonders it has wrought. When we plead for another, we come very near to the prayer of Christ Himself, who ever lives to make intercession. Be assured, your sighs and your tears are not fruitless, and we will keep your name before the throne of grace.

Hear this truth for your comfort, that unanswered petitions are not unheard. God keeps a file for our prayers. They are not blown away by the wind, they are treasured in the King's archives. There is a registry in the court of Heaven where every prayer is recorded. Though you should have seven years of unanswered prayer, yet do not suggest any reason to your mind which would dishonor Him. Settle this in your mind, that He is holy. Do not say God cannot hear you, for that is to speak against His nature. Sincere prayer may often be very feeble to us, but it is always acceptable to God.

There may be causes for delay which are for your good. Sometimes unanswered prayer is a Fatherly chastisement for sin harbored or an admonition against sin, and sometimes there may be sin even in the prayer itself when it is offered without fervency or humility. At other times the Lord is strengthening your muscles and sinews and power by the arduous exercise of waiting, that you may be finely useful in the future. We must not take delays in prayer for denial. God's long dated bills will be punctually honored. We must not suffer Satan to shake our confidence in the God of Truth by pointing to our unanswered prayers. No prayer is likely to bring down an immediate answer if it is not fervent, but the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

You speak of bitterness, and that you are no more the person you once were. Know that God has made bitter things to be a sanctifying power to His people. That bitterness makes Christ very sweet. When the world loses its charms, Christ gains His full savor to the soul. One effect of this holy bitterness is to take away all bitterness against your fellow men, and to make you gentle again where you have grown hard. Look to Him whom you have pierced, and mourn for Him, and you shall find that in that mourning there is a sweetness which the world cannot give.

And we must speak plainly to you about despair. Despair is a high insult to God. No mortal has a just pretense to perish in despair, and if he does so, despair is a form of willful self destruction. No man has a right to despair while God is the sinner's hope. While it dishonors the mercy of God, despair brings out the adversary and crowns him in Christ's stead, as if he were victorious over the mercy of God and had conquered Christ Himself. It degrades a man below the brute beast, for even the smallest creature will struggle for life. Do not sullenly lie down in it. What you say in your despair may come true through your own making it so, but what God says is truer still, that He is able to save to the uttermost.

Therefore we entreat you to pray still, and to plead the promise. Prayer is just pleading with the Most High, spreading our case before Him, and pressing our suit with all the arguments we can muster. Say with David, Remember the Word unto Your servant. That is to ask God to fulfill what He has spoken. Though God cannot forget, He delights to be reminded of His promises, for our prayer is the shadow of a coming blessing. Bring His Word before Him. Tell Him that you are His servant, that He has quickened you, and ask Him to quicken you again in His way. Such a prayer is an index of life, for only those in whom the quickening Spirit dwells can so pray.

We pray for you now after this manner. O Lord, remember Thy Word unto Thy servant, upon which Thou hast caused him to hope. Thou hast heard his feeble cries and Thou hast treasured every tear. Quicken him in Thy way, and turn his eyes from vanity. Forgive his impatience and his bitterness, and wash him in the blood of Christ, who pleaded in the garden with bloody sweat. Take away the heart of despair and give him a hope that shall not make ashamed. Strengthen him by this long waiting, and make him to know that Thou art holy and that Thou hearest prayer. Keep him from the evil, and keep him in this bitter world for Thy glory, that he may yet see Thy goodness in the land of the living, and may have double cause for prayer and double cause for praise. Hear our intercession for him, for Christ's sake. Amen.

Cast yourself upon Christ again, and continue in prayer morning and night, and seek the fellowship of faithful brethren who will watch with you. The dawn will come, for He who has begun a good work will not forsake the work of His own hands.

You are praying for the wrong things. You are praying for things and for end states for yourself. You are being selfish. Maybe start drinking trying to be a friend and helping others rather than focusing on yourself. Maybe pray for others instead of your own selfish wants and desires... Just a thought ..

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your honesty in sharing this pain is received with care and I thank you for trusting this burden to prayer. To feel that everything goes wrong, to no longer recognize the bright side, to become impatient and bitter when you once were known as a kind person, and to even hate yourself and wonder why to live on, is a very heavy affliction. You are not alone in feeling this way, and you are not forgotten by God even when it feels that He does not hear.

Prayer is not a matter of luck, and God’s hearing is not measured by how quickly our circumstances change. He hears the honest cry of a weary heart. At the same time, Scripture teaches that we need both our own watchfulness and the prayers of others. It is good that you have asked others to pray for you. That asking is itself a step of faith. Continue to stay awake in faith, even in a small way each day, through turning to Christ, reading His word, and speaking honestly to Him, while also letting faithful brothers and sisters stand with you in prayer.

You described bitterness taking hold. Bitterness is like a root that, if left in the ground, will bear only bitter fruit in our thoughts, words, and relationships. It grows when disappointment and hurt are left untended. With God’s help that root can be uncovered and healed. This does not happen by pretending the pain is not real, but by bringing the pain to Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation and our peace, and asking Him to soften the heart, to forgive, to cleanse, and to renew. The enemy never gives up hope of our destruction, and it would be a great tragedy if we gave up hope of our own salvation while he does not give up his attack. Do not despair. Despair says God cannot help, but the truth is that God is near to the brokenhearted and His mercy does not run out.

My prayer for you is that the Lord will grant you peace at all times and in every way, a quietness of heart even while the storms around you continue, and that He will guard you from hatred, both toward others and toward yourself. You were made in God’s image and you are loved by Him. Self hatred is not His voice. May He lift the weight of frustration and impatience, replace bitterness with His love, give you strength to take one day at a time, and show you again what hope looks like in Christ.

Please do not carry this alone. Keep praying, even with simple words, and reach out daily to a trusted pastor, a mature believer, or a counselor who can walk with you closely. If you ever feel you may act on thoughts of not wanting to live, please reach out immediately to someone near you and to a crisis help line in your area so you are not alone in that moment.

I am praying for you now, that God will hear and answer according to His great mercy, that He will draw you close to Jesus, give you endurance, heal your heart, and restore peace and hope step by step. May the Lord be with you and keep you, and may you know that you are heard, you are valued, and your life is precious to God.
