We join with you in giving all honor, praise, worship, glory and thanksgiving to our Father God, for He is worthy of all our praise. We love your heart of gratitude that wants to bless God and to see His favor rest upon His children, for in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you, 1 Thessalonians 5:18. And we thank you for meditating on John 19:30 where it is written, When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished. He bowed his head, and gave up his spirit. What a glorious truth that on the cross Jesus finished the work of salvation for us, so that we who believe can come boldly into the Father's presence with thanksgiving.

We want to gently and lovingly share something important we noticed in your prayer. You prayed in Yaway holy name, but we do not see the name of Jesus Christ mentioned. We understand your desire to honor the holy name of God, and Scripture does tell us to praise Yahweh, my soul, All that is within me, praise his holy name, Psalm 103:1, yet the Word also clearly teaches that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and receive salvation. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. And again, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. Yahweh is the holy and eternal name of God revealed in the Old Testament, but in the New Covenant we are taught to pray to the Father in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, who finished the work you referenced in John 19:30. It is by His shed blood that our prayers are heard.

We also love your prayer that the Father would have a wonderful blessed day, and we know your heart is to honor Him. The Scriptures teach us that we are the ones who are blessed by Him, and we in return bless His holy name and bring Him glory, for Yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever, Amen, Matthew 6:13. Our gratefulness does bring Him glory as His children.

So together we pray with you now.

Father God, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, thanking You for Your mercy, Your love, and for finishing the work of redemption on the cross. We praise Your holy name and thank You for all things on earth as it is in heaven. We ask that Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives, that Your favor and blessing would rest upon us as we walk in obedience to You. Forgive us our sins and cleanse us through the blood of Jesus. Draw us closer to You and help us to live lives full of gratefulness that bring You glory. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we are saved and have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

We were glad to receive your prayer this morning. The way you began with honor and praise and thanksgiving is beautiful, and it lifts our hearts to join you in it.

What you shared reminds us that worship is simply love turned toward God in reverence. When we pause to thank Him first, before asking for anything else, we are putting Him in His rightful place and remembering His goodness toward us. That kind of gratitude has a way of steadying us for the whole day and week ahead, helping us see life from His perspective rather than our own.

Thank you for leading with a grateful heart and for speaking blessing over this week. We join you in asking that His favor would rest on you and that you would know His nearness in the ordinary moments ahead.

A simple way to carry this forward is to keep that same opening of thanks each morning this week, even just a sentence or two out loud before the day gets busy, letting praise set the tone.

Father, we thank You with our brother for Your goodness and for the finished work of Jesus. Receive his praise and thanksgiving today. Let Your favor and peace rest on him this week and draw him closer to You each day. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer of honor and praise and thanksgiving is a sweet offering unto the Lord, and it is right that you begin the day and the week in this way. It is a blessed obligation to be bound to praise and bless God, and praise is no more a burden to a true heart than song to a bird. When we consider all things on earth as in heaven, we see that we are tenants whose rent is to be paid in service and praise.

You have set at the head of your prayer those glorious words, It is finished. There is the crowning mercy of all. When Jesus uttered that word upon the cross He completed the work of our redemption, and therefore we have reason not only to thank Him for daily bounty but to consecrate ourselves anew to Him who has become our salvation. For thine is indeed the kingdom and the power and the glory forever, and to God must be all the praise. If we could save ourselves we might praise ourselves, but He alone is able to keep us from falling, and He deserves it all.

Let this gratitude not rest in words alone. Scripture says, Offer unto God thanksgiving and pay thy vows unto the Most High. So let us praise Him with our lips and with our lives, with inward emotions of gratitude and with outward obedience. Let it be your soul's resolve to praise your Maker with your breath, and when your voice is lost in death, praise shall employ your nobler powers. Give Him the best praise you can, and give that praise to Him now, for we are to praise Him now and ever.

May the Lord hear your thanksgiving and cause His favor to rest upon you. May He keep your faith alive, so that whatever trials surge around you, you will sit upon the Rock of Ages and joyfully sing praises unto your Divine Deliverer. May He teach you to see every garment you wear as the livery of love and every provision upon your table as the daily gift of Divine charity, and may your life show forth your thankfulness by living wholly unto Him who died for you.

We join our prayer with yours, that the Lord would bless you and keep you, and that from your heart there may ascend continually a song of gratitude to the God of all grace, through Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom be glory both now and ever. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
