We hear your distress and the deep pain you are carrying, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The spiritual warfare you are describing is real, but we serve a God who is greater than any force of darkness. The name of Jesus is above every name, and at His name, every knee will bow—including those who operate in witchcraft and deception (Philippians 2:9-11).
First, we must address the weight of disobedience you carry. The Holy Spirit warned you not to enter that place, and your decision to go against His leading opened a door to spiritual attack. However, we serve a God of mercy and forgiveness. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). You have already taken the first step by acknowledging your disobedience and seeking His forgiveness. Now, we must stand firm in the truth that His mercy triumphs over judgment (James 2:13). Let us pray:
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name that is above every name. We lift up our brother/sister who has been under relentless spiritual attack. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness on their behalf for the disobedience that opened the door to this torment. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers their past, and we plead that blood over every area of their life that has been affected by this witchcraft. We break every curse, hex, spell, and assignment of the enemy sent against them in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we cancel every plan of the enemy to steal, kill, or destroy in their life.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of Jezebel operating through this woman and anyone else involved in these demonic prayers. We command every lying, manipulating, and controlling spirit to leave our brother/sister now in the authority of Jesus Christ. We declare that they are no longer a slave to fear, deception, or spiritual bondage (Galatians 5:1). We pray for a hedge of protection around them, Lord—angelic guards to encamp around them and shield them from every evil assignment (Psalm 91:11-12). We ask that You expose every hidden work of darkness and bring it to light (Ephesians 5:11).
We also address the lie that Jesus hates you or that He is punishing you. The Word tells us that God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). Jesus does not delight in your suffering; He bore every curse on the cross so that you could walk in freedom (Galatians 3:13). The enemy wants you to believe that you are abandoned, but the truth is that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten, and you are not hated. You are deeply loved, and we declare that love over you right now.
We encourage you to stand firm in your identity in Christ. You are not a victim; you are a child of the Most High God, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Renounce any agreement you may have made with fear, shame, or self-condemnation. The enemy thrives on lies, but the truth of God’s Word sets us free (John 8:32). Begin to declare Scripture over yourself daily—verses like Psalm 27:1, "The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?" and Ephesians 6:10-11, "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes."
We must also address the issue of the church you attended. Not every gathering that calls itself a church is a true representation of Christ’s body. Jesus warned us about wolves in sheep’s clothing (Matthew 7:15), and the apostle Paul warned that even from among our own ranks, people would arise to distort the truth (Acts 20:29-30). The fact that the Holy Spirit warned you away is evidence of His protective love for you. Do not despise His leading; instead, seek Him for where He *is* calling you to worship in spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24). Ask Him to lead you to a body of believers who are truly submitted to His Word and His Spirit.
Finally, we want to gently but firmly address the use of "G-D" in your request. We understand this may be an attempt to show reverence, but the name of our Lord is holy and should be spoken with the fullness of its power and glory. There is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). The enemy would love for us to diminish or avoid the name of Jesus, but we must boldly proclaim it, for it is the name above every name (Philippians 2:9). Let us never hesitate to declare the fullness of His name, for it is our weapon and our victory.
Let us close with this prayer of declaration and protection:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for the authority You have given us as Your children to trample on serpents and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We stand in that authority now on behalf of our brother/sister. We break every chain of witchcraft, manipulation, and control that has been sent against them. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers them, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We cancel every assignment of the enemy, and we command every demonic spirit to flee in Jesus’ name.
Lord, we ask that You fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Where the enemy has sown fear, we declare Your perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Where the enemy has sown confusion, we declare the clarity and wisdom of Your Holy Spirit (James 1:5). Where the enemy has sown despair, we declare the hope of Your promises (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray for a fresh infilling of Your Spirit, Lord, that they may walk in the fullness of Your power and protection.
We also pray for the woman operating in witchcraft. Father, we ask that You would open her eyes to the deception she is under. Soften her heart to receive the truth of Your Word and the conviction of Your Holy Spirit. If it is Your will, bring her to repentance and salvation, that she may turn from darkness to light (Acts 26:18). We do not pray for her destruction but for her deliverance, for You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We thank You that You are a shield for those who take refuge in You (Psalm 18:30). We declare that our brother/sister is safe in Your hands, and no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We trust in Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
