The fact that you recognize the satanic influence in this pornography and media is a sign that the Holy Spirit is at work in you, convicting and guiding you toward truth. You have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, and that is where your victory lies—for there is power in His name to break every chain of darkness.
The Scriptures warn us that Satan is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44), and his goal is to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). What you are describing—personalized attacks using names and voices from your past, the twisting of relationships, and the perversion of religious authority—are classic tactics of the enemy to create confusion, fear, and spiritual bondage. But take heart, for Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33), and He has given you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
The thoughts you’re having about religious abuse and the exploitation of others through financial or spiritual manipulation are not from God. While it is true that some in positions of religious authority have abused their power—something Scripture strongly condemns (Matthew 23:1-12, 1 Peter 5:2-3)—we must be careful not to let the enemy distort our perception of God’s true church. Satan loves to pervert what is holy, but Jesus is the Good Shepherd who protects His sheep. If you are sensing that others, like these streamers, are being exploited, we encourage you to pray for them, but also to guard your own mind and heart. You cannot fight spiritual battles for others if you are not first standing firm in your own faith.
Now, let us address the root of this struggle: the consumption of pornography, especially that which is satanically charged. Pornography is a grave sin, a form of sexual immorality that defiles the body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). It opens doors to demonic influence and creates soul ties with the evil depicted in it. The fact that this content is using names and voices from your past suggests that the enemy is attempting to exploit unresolved wounds, bitterness, or even ungodly soul ties from past relationships. We must renounce these ties and close these doors in the name of Jesus.
Repentance is your first step to freedom. Turn away from this sin completely—no compromise—and ask the Lord to cleanse you. 1 John 1:9 tells us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* This is not just about behavior modification; it is about a heart surrendered to Jesus. You must also remove every access point to this content. If certain media or platforms are triggers, you must cut them off, no matter the cost. Jesus said, *"If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna"* (Matthew 5:29). This may mean deleting apps, blocking websites, or even stepping away from certain communities online.
As for the strange thoughts about religious abuse, we must test every spirit (1 John 4:1). Not every thought that enters your mind is from you—some are planted by the enemy to create distrust, fear, or confusion. If you are struggling with accusations against others, especially in the body of Christ, bring those thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Pray for discernment, and if you suspect someone is being genuinely abused, pray for their protection and deliverance. But do not let the enemy use this as a distraction from your own need for repentance and renewal.
Finally, we must address the spiritual warfare aspect of this. The fact that you are seeing connections where there should be none—such as donors manipulating streamers through satanic means—suggests that the enemy is trying to pull you into a web of conspiracy and paranoia. While spiritual warfare is real, we must be careful not to attribute more power to the enemy than he actually has. Satan is a created being, and his power is limited by the sovereignty of God. Your focus must remain on Jesus, not on the schemes of the devil. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), and stand firm in prayer.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is under attack. Lord, we rebuked every satanic assignment against his mind, his heart, and his spirit. We break every ungodly soul tie, every curse, and every word spoken against him in the name of Jesus. Father, we ask that You would sever every connection he has had with pornography, especially that which is demonically charged. Cleanse him from all unrighteousness and fill him with Your Holy Spirit.
Lord, we pray that You would expose every lie of the enemy. Where there are wounds from the past, we ask for Your healing. Where there is fear, we ask for Your peace. Where there is confusion, we ask for Your clarity. Father, we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every demonic spirit of lust, fear, deception, and manipulation to flee in the name of Jesus.
We pray for his mind to be renewed by Your Word (Romans 12:2) and for his heart to be guarded by Your truth. Give him the strength to walk away from every temptation and to fill his life with what is pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). Lord, surround him with godly brothers and sisters who will encourage him and hold him accountable.
Father, we also lift up those he mentioned—the streamers and others who may be caught in webs of manipulation or abuse. If they are being exploited, we ask that You would expose the truth and bring deliverance. Raise up intercessors to stand in the gap for them.
Most of all, Lord, we ask that You would draw our brother closer to You. Let this trial drive him to his knees, where he finds his strength in You alone. Fill him with a hunger for Your Word and a passion for righteousness. May he walk in the freedom that Christ purchased for him on the cross.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are at work, even now, bringing light into the darkness. We praise You for the victory that is already won in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Brother, we urge you to stay in the Word daily. Memorize Scripture to combat the lies of the enemy. Seek out a mature believer or pastor who can walk with you through this season. And remember: *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7). You are not powerless—you have the authority of Christ within you. Walk in that authority, and do not give the enemy any more ground. Stay in prayer, stay in the Word, and stay in fellowship with believers who will strengthen you.
If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to make a public confession of this struggle to a trusted brother in Christ. There is power in bringing sin into the light (James 5:16). You do not have to walk this road alone. The body of Christ is here to support you, pray for you, and help you stand firm.
Lastly, if you have not fully surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, now is the time. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord and confess with your mouth that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). If you have done this, then you are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), and the old has passed away. Walk in that identity, and let the Holy Spirit guide you into all truth.
