Jesus, Abba, Holy Spirit. Lord, please come. Set our hearts on fire. Set us ablaze. You promised that You would breathe on us and create in us what we could never do in our own selves. Our righteousness is but filthy rags, and therefore we cannot boast in ourselves because it is only You who has done anything good within our hearts. Lord, if we are lacking, it is because we are lacking You. Lord, we need more, so much more than we have. Lord, come baptize us in Your fire and Your Spirit, once again and deeper than ever before. Lord, consume all the chaff and remove everything that is unnecessary. Lord, forgive me because I am a selfish being. Forgive me because I want to feed my flesh, because I get distracted by temporal things when You are right there...When You are there to talk to, to know, and yet I lack discipline to push through. I lack patience to keep trying. But You promised that if we seek You, we will surely find You when we seek You with all our hearts. Lord, grace, Lord. Please send Your grace that we will seek You with every fiber of our beings, holding nothing back, not even a splinter of desire that is not of You. Abba, what is 100% full surrender? I do not believe I have made it there, but God, I believe it is entirely possible. Take my life and my heart. I don't need anything if it separates me from You. I'm sorry I keep getting distracted. Help me God. Help me to know You more deeply than I ever have. Help to shake my surroundings with You. I need You God. I need You Jesus, Holy Spirit. I need the flame that never flickers. I don't want a candlestick, Lord. I don't want to be a little light and let it shine. Lord, create a forest fire that will never stop shining because it rages forwards and consumes everything in its path. Lord, we need to manifest Your glory and stop falling short of what is available. I am trusting You for more of Your presence and Spirit in my life in Jesus name, amen.
