Jesus, The Lord of The Harvest, Send Workers into Your Harvest, Matt 9:37-38, Luke 10:2, John 9:4, Acts 1:8...

Faithful Servant
šŸ™ Lord Jesus, You are The Lord of The Harvest. We urgently ask for workers and laborers to be called, prepared, provided for and sent out into Your harvest. Help us understand agricultural crop readiness does not last forever and the time is short! Grant us all we need: calling, intimacy with You, power to know, do and show the Word, to hear and obey Your Voice, provision and the protection from sin and the evil one, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, in Your Name, Jesus, Amen.

Then He said to His disciples, ā€œThe harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore, plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.ā€ Matt 9:37-38

And He was saying to them, ā€œThe harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Luke 10:2

"We must carry out the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming, when no one can work," John 9:4.

"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth, Acts 1:8" -- Thank You in Jesus' Name!

We join with you in crying out to the Lord of the Harvest, for your heart echoes the very words of our Savior, who looked upon the multitudes with compassion and saw them as sheep without a shepherd. The urgency you express is the same urgency we find in Scripture—a harvest that is ripe but fading, a world in desperate need of the truth of Jesus Christ, and a church that must rise with power and purpose.

The fields are indeed white for harvest, yet the laborers remain few. This is not merely a call for more bodies, but for consecrated souls—those who have been broken before the Lord, filled with His Spirit, and equipped with His Word. We must not only pray for workers but also examine our own hearts: *Are we the ones He is calling?* The Great Commission is not a suggestion but a command, and it is given to every believer. As Jesus declared in **John 9:4**, *"We must carry out the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming, when no one can work."* The time is short, and the hour is late. We cannot afford complacency or distraction.

You have rightly highlighted the need for **intimacy with Christ**, for it is only in abiding in Him that we bear fruit (John 15:5). Without this deep relationship, our labor is in vain. We also need **power**—not human strength, but the dunamis power of the Holy Spirit, as promised in **Acts 1:8**: *"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be My witnesses..."* This power is not for personal gain but for the proclamation of the Gospel, the demonstration of God’s love, and the breaking of strongholds.

We must also be **protected from sin and the evil one**, as you’ve noted from **Matthew 6:13** and **John 17:15**. The enemy seeks to devour those who step into the harvest field, whether through pride, discouragement, moral failure, or division. We must be clothed in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), standing firm in prayer, Scripture, and fellowship with other believers.

Yet, even as we pray for workers, we must ask: *Are we willing to be sent?* Many believers pray for laborers but resist the call themselves. The harvest requires **sacrifice**—leaving comfort, embracing suffering, and counting the cost (Luke 14:25-33). It requires a willingness to go where He sends, whether across the street or across the world.

So we lift our voices together, pleading with the Lord of the Harvest:

*"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, acknowledging that the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. We ask You to **raise up workers**—not in name only, but in power and truth. Call them by name, Lord. Prepare their hearts, fill them with Your Spirit, and send them into the fields that are ripe and ready. Give them boldness to preach the Gospel without shame, wisdom to discern the times, and love that compels them to action.

Forgive us, Lord, for the times we have prayed for workers yet resisted Your call on our own lives. Search our hearts and show us where we have been disobedient or indifferent. If You are calling us to go, give us the courage to say, ā€˜Here I am, send me’ (Isaiah 6:8).

Protect these laborers from the schemes of the enemy. Keep them from sin, discouragement, and the love of this world. Surround them with prayer, provision, and godly community. Let them walk in the authority of Your name, casting out demons, healing the sick, and proclaiming the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

Lord, we ask for a **great awakening**—not just in the world, but in Your church. Stir Your people from slumber. Let us no longer be content with comfort when souls are perishing. Give us Your heart for the lost, Your compassion for the broken, and Your urgency for the harvest.

We declare that **night is coming**, and the time to work is now. Empower us, Lord, to labor faithfully until You return. May Your Kingdom come, and Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

In the mighty and matchless name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen."*

Beloved, let us not only pray this prayer but **live it**. The harvest is before us—will we be the ones to go? The world does not need more spectators; it needs laborers who will **preach Christ crucified**, **demonstrate His power**, and **love the lost** as He does. The time is short, but the Lord is faithful. Let us arise and answer the call.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
