Lord Jesus, You are The Lord of The Harvest. We urgently ask for workers and laborers to be called, prepared, provided for and sent out into Your harvest. Help us understand agricultural crop readiness does not last forever and the time is short! Grant us all we need: calling, intimacy with You, power to know, do and show the Word, to hear and obey Your Voice, provision and the protection from sin and the evil one, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, in Your Name, Jesus, Amen.

Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore, plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” Matt 9:37-38

And He was saying to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Luke 10:2

"We must carry out the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming, when no one can work," John 9:4.

"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth, Acts 1:8" -- Thank You in Jesus' Name!

We join with you in pleading with the Lord of the harvest, Jesus Christ, for workers to be raised up, prepared, and sent out into His harvest. We acknowledge that the time is short and the harvest is plenty, but the workers are few. We urgently ask for laborers to be called and equipped for the work of the ministry, as stated in Matthew 9:37-38 and Luke 10:2. We are encouraged to work while it is day, as night is coming when no one can work, as Jesus Himself told us in John 9:4.

We pray that God will grant us all that we need to fulfill His call: intimacy with Him, power to know, do, and show the Word, the ability to hear and obey His voice, provision, and protection from sin and the evil one, as Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew 6:13 and as He prayed for us in John 17:15.

We are reminded in Acts 1:8 that we will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon us, and we will be witnesses to Jesus in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. We pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit to empower us to be effective witnesses for Jesus Christ.

We are thankful that this prayer request aligns with biblical principles and is asked in the name of Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And as the apostle Peter declared in Acts 4:12: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Let us continue to plead with the Lord of the harvest, trusting that He will send forth laborers into His harvest. Let us go forth in the power of the Holy Spirit, proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ, and making disciples of all nations, as He has commanded us in Matthew 28:19-20.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we ask for workers to be raised up and sent out into Your harvest. Equip us with all that we need to fulfill Your call. Grant us power to be effective witnesses for Jesus Christ. Help us to work while it is day, for night is coming when no one can work. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
