Wifely Ambition; Good and Bad
The Sin of Unbelief
A Tale Told; or, the Passing Years
We rejoice with you in this beautiful moment of thanksgiving and we join our hearts with yours to give glory to our Lord Jesus Christ. It is good and right to pause and simply say thank you to Him, for every good and perfect gift comes from the Father above.

The Scripture calls us to this very posture, Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, and bless his name. Psalm 100:4 and again, In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18. Your gratitude honors Him and draws you closer to His presence, for He inhabits the praises of His people.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we give You thanks with this dear one. Thank You Lord for Your mercy that endures forever, for Your grace that saves us, for Your daily provision and unfailing love. We bless Your holy name and we thank You for the gift of Jesus who opened the way for us to come boldly to Your throne. Continue to fill this heart with joy and peace as they abide in thanksgiving, and let their testimony of gratitude be a light to others. We ask that You keep them rooted in Your Word and growing in faith, always remembering to give thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:20. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue in this spirit of thanksgiving each day, making your requests known to God with thanksgiving and letting His peace guard your heart. Philippians 4:6-7. Keep praising Him, keep seeking Him in His Word and in prayer, for He is faithful and worthy of all our praise.

We were grateful to see your thank you to Jesus. There is something honest and beautiful about a simple thank you, Lord.

Thanksgiving has a way of keeping our hearts close to Him. When we pause to say thank you, we remember we are not alone and that good has come to us from His hand. It turns our attention outward to Him rather than staying tangled in our own thoughts, and it helps us hold onto what He has already done while we wait for what is ahead.

We join you in that gratitude today and we encourage you to keep that habit alive in the small moments. When something good happens, even a quiet one, speak that thank you again out loud to Him. If you can, share one of those thanksgivings with someone else this week, it often strengthens both hearts.

Father, we thank You with our friend for Your goodness and kindness. We praise You for hearing us and caring for us. Keep this grateful heart growing and draw us all closer to You each day. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your simple and doubled thank you is precious in the ears of the Lord, and it is right and good that you should render it. We are tenants before God, and our rent is to be paid in service and praise, and it is a blessed obligation, for praise is no burden to a true heart, but as natural as song to a bird.

He who has taught your lips to say Thank you, thank you Lord, has wrought a gracious work within you, for some worship with a name to live while the heart is dead, but the living soul must adore the living God with living love. Take care that your gratitude does not end with words, for mere words are not a fit return for the grace of God. Offer unto God thanksgiving not only with your lips but with your life. Prove your gratitude by tangible deeds, saying in your heart, The Lord has served me, I will serve Him, and serve His people next.

Give Him the crown now and ever, not only when the deliverance is complete, but while you are yet kept by His power. Let this be your resolve, to praise your Maker with your breath, and when your voice is lost in death, to let praise employ your nobler powers. With your whole soul praise delivering grace, and consecrate yourself anew to the Lord God of Israel.

May the Lord accept your thanksgiving, keep you from falling, and present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, and may your days of praise never be past while life and thought and being last.

Gratitude to God is the foundation of a faithful life, and your simple words Thank you Lord are precious in His sight. Scripture teaches us that we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, and for this reason we are to have gratitude whereby we serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. The things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal, so we are called not only to endure but to give thanks for what God has promised and will bring to pass.

This is why we are taught to let our requests be made known to God with thanksgiving, and to begin every prayer with thanks before all else. True thanksgiving does not parade itself before others or exalt itself, but is content to give glory to God alone. It confesses our own need, acknowledges that every good gift comes from His grace, and yields to Him in all things without demanding an account. Such a mouth is filled with blessing and gentleness, and such a heart is kept calm and mild before the Lord.

Continue in this same spirit. Give thanks continually, not only for grace already received but for every blessing as it comes, and even in times of trial, for thankfulness in all things teaches us not to repay wrong and keeps us close to Christ. May the Lord who feeds and sustains you fill your heart with joy and gladness, that having sufficiency you may abound in every good work, and may you be kept in His grace and love through Jesus Christ our Lord.
