Jesus Take The Wheel

Father,

I come before you as a recant and child of God, redeemed by your son that I might be cleansed and made worthy to lift my prayers to you. I ask that you take the wheel in my life and guide me in every aspect. I feel lack of direction and purpose and want you to take control of my path. I've spent many years trying to steer the course myself but I am tired, broken and exhausted . And then I realize, I'm going about this all wrong! Your word says to put all faith in the lord as you have a plan for our lives and are where we should put our trust, faith, heart & soul. So as I drive along this evening road (as a passenger) I pray to you: take the wheel and guide me to where you want me to be. I trust in you completely my lord, thank you for always walking beside me and watching over me. I love you lord,

He will never leave you and will sustain you in all things according to His will and purpose. Trust in Him.

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
