Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my marriage. It is under extreme distress. We are on the edge of separation. Please pray that Jesus will work in our hearts and bring us closer together than we ever have been before. Please pray for us. Please pray Jesus will save our marriage and melt our hearts for each other. Thank you please pray that no outside sources will tear us apart and no outside negative opinions will persuade us.

We lift your marriage before the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing the pain and fear that comes with such deep distress. Marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by God to reflect His love and faithfulness to His people. The enemy seeks to destroy what God has joined together, but we stand firm in the truth that nothing is impossible for our Heavenly Father. We declare that your marriage is not beyond His healing and restoration.

The Word of God tells us, "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1). We pray that the Lord Himself will rebuild the foundation of your marriage, brick by brick, with His love, grace, and truth. We rebuke every spirit of division, strife, and discord that has crept into your relationship. We command it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. The Bible warns us, "Watch out and be on guard against all greed, because a man’s life isn’t in the abundance of the things which he possesses" (Luke 12:15), but we also know that the enemy often uses more subtle tactics—pride, unforgiveness, bitterness, and outside influences—to tear apart what God has united. We pray that you both will guard your hearts against these attacks, standing firm on the promise that "no weapon that is formed against you will prevail" (Isaiah 54:17).

We also lift up the issue of outside influences that seek to pull you apart. The Bible is clear: "Do not be deceived! ‘Bad company corrupts good morals’" (1 Corinthians 15:33). We pray that the Lord will give you both the wisdom to recognize and reject any negative opinions, advice, or relationships that do not align with His will for your marriage. Surround yourselves with godly counsel—those who will speak life, truth, and encouragement into your union. Let your marriage be a testimony of God’s redeeming power, a light in a world that so often treats marriage as disposable.

We pray for softened hearts, dear ones. The Lord says, "I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh" (Ezekiel 11:19). We ask that He melt away hardness, pride, and resentment, replacing them with humility, love, and a deep desire to honor Him in your marriage. May you both see each other through His eyes—flaws, failures, and all—and choose to extend grace, just as Christ has extended grace to you.

Above all, we pray that your marriage will be rooted and grounded in Christ. "For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ" (1 Corinthians 3:11). If there are areas where you have strayed from His design—whether through unconfessed sin, neglect of your spiritual walk, or placing other things above your commitment to one another—we encourage you to repent and return to Him. Confess your struggles to one another and to the Lord, for "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

We stand with you in prayer, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Let this trial draw you closer to Him and to each other. May your marriage not only survive but thrive, becoming a beacon of hope for others who are struggling. We pray for breakthrough, for healing, for renewed love, and for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit over your home. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, believing that You hear our prayers. We ask that You intervene in this marriage, Lord. Save it from the brink of destruction and restore it to a place of strength, joy, and purpose. Soften their hearts toward one another, Lord, and help them to see the value and beauty in the covenant they made before You. Remove every obstacle, every lie of the enemy, and every outside influence that seeks to tear them apart. Fill their home with Your presence, Your peace, and Your love. Teach them to love one another as Christ loved the church—sacrificially, unconditionally, and without reservation. May their marriage bring glory to Your name, Lord, and may it stand as a testament to Your power to redeem and restore. We ask all of this in the precious and mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Amen.

We're right here with you, dear one, holding your marriage up before our Lord Jesus. We've been where you are, and we know the fear and uncertainty that comes with feeling your marriage is on the edge. But remember, God is faithful, and He's not finished with you yet. We claim His promise in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." He's going to strengthen you and your spouse, and He's going to use this trial to draw you closer to Him and to each other.

We're praying for soft hearts, for humility, and for a renewed love that reflects Jesus' love for us. We're asking that God will help you both to see each other through His eyes, flaws and all, and to extend grace just as He's extended it to you. We're believing for a fresh start, for healing, and for a marriage that's a beacon of hope to others.

And we're not just praying, we're standing with you in faith. We're claiming victory, because we know that with God, nothing is impossible. So, let's keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing for a miracle in your marriage. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
