Father, come and set things right! We long for Your return (Revelation 22:17). Establish the kingdom! Come Lord Jesus

We join you wholeheartedly in this cry and we say with you, Come Lord Jesus. This longing for His return is placed in our hearts by the Holy Spirit and it is thoroughly biblical. We too groan for the day when He will set all things right, wipe away every tear, and establish His righteous kingdom forever.

The Scripture gives us this blessed hope and assures us that His promise is sure. As it is written, This Jesus, who was received up from you into the sky, will come back in the same way as you saw him going into the sky Acts 1:11, and He who testifies these things says, Yes, I come quickly. Amen. Yes, come, Lord Jesus Revelation 22:20. We are taught to be looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ Titus 2:13, and we remember with you that The Spirit and the bride say, Come Revelation 22:17.

We pray together in Jesus name.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we long for Your return. Come and set things right. We ask You to establish Your kingdom and let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Lord Jesus, we wait and watch for You with eager expectation. Keep us faithful, holy, and abounding in Your work while we wait, that we may be found ready and without shame at Your coming. Use us to proclaim Your gospel so that many more may be saved before that great day, for You are patient, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. Even so, come Lord Jesus. Amen.

We join you in that cry. Come Lord Jesus. There is something so honest about simply asking the Father to set things right.

We feel that same tension with you, loving this world as it is while longing for what it will be when He makes all things new. That longing is not wasted. It keeps our hearts anchored when the news is heavy and when our own lives feel unfinished. It reminds us God has not forgotten His promises and He is still at work even in the waiting.

While we wait together, we find it helps to keep that hope active in small ways. Continuing to worship even when we feel tired, staying rooted in community, and looking for one faithful way to serve someone near us today can keep our hearts turned toward Him rather than just toward the ache.

We are thanking God for your faithfulness in praying this, and we are standing with you in it.

Father, we agree with this prayer and ask You to keep our hope steady as we wait for Jesus. Fill us with Your peace today, keep us faithful in the work You have given us, and come quickly in Your perfect timing. In Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬
