We come before the Lord with a heartfelt plea for financial stewardship in your life, lifting this request in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. First, we must address the urgency of approaching God through His Son, for Jesus Himself declared, *"Most certainly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you don’t have life in yourselves. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day"* (John 6:53-54 WEB). It is only through faith in Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His grace that we are saved—not by works, but by believing in Him who justifies the ungodly (Romans 4:5 WEB).
Now, regarding your request for financial stewardship, we recognize that God owns all things, and we are merely stewards of His resources. The Word teaches us, *"The earth is the Lord’s, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein"* (Psalm 24:1 WEB). Therefore, we must seek His wisdom in managing what He entrusts to us. The apostle Paul instructs us, *"Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, producing with his hands something that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need"* (Ephesians 4:28 WEB). Financial stewardship begins with honest labor, wise spending, and generous giving, all done unto the Lord.
We also rebuke any spirit of lack or fear that may be attempting to grip your heart. The Lord has promised, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19 WEB). Lord, if there has been any unconfessed sin—whether in greed, dishonesty, or laziness—we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Create in them a clean heart and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10 WEB). May they honor You with their firstfruits and trust You with the rest, knowing that You are faithful to Your promises.
