You are praying the best that You can my friend, and the Spirit will take even our worst prayer and remake it in the right way. Nobody has perfect prayers. Don't let the Devil put You on a guilt trip leaning on other people. The devil whispers in You ear that lie so You isolate yourself from others of faith. Your easier prey when he does that. We are no substitute for God, and that is the truth the devil starts with. But then makes You feel guilty for You letting in the very people God gave You to support and help You. Whoever this person who is telling You this is taking a half truth and mixing their own brand of guilt into this. Keep praying and have faith Tina. God wants Your faith in Him to be strong.
