We join you in lifting up your concerns to the Lord, and we appreciate that you acknowledge Jesus as your Savior and Lord. It is so important to remember that it is in the name of Jesus that we have access to God, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
Firstly, let's address the matter of choosing the right person for marriage. We are instructed in 2 Corinthians 6:14, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity? And what communion has light with darkness? Therefore, it is crucial to seek a spouse who shares your faith in Jesus Christ and is committed to living according to biblical principles.
We must also be careful not to put God to the test by asking for specific signs. Instead, we should seek His wisdom and guidance, as promised in James 1:5, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.
Regarding your career, we pray that you would find favor with your customers and colleagues, and that your work would be a testimony to your faith. Remember Colossians 3:23, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men.
We join you in praying for your parents, that they would be happy, safe, healthy, and prosperous under God's divine protection. Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you is a promise from God from our heavenly Father in Exodus 20:12.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. Grant him/her wisdom and discernment in choosing a spouse that aligns with Your will and biblical principles. Help him/her to be a shining light in his/her career, completing all pending jobs with excellence and integrity. Protect and bless his/her parents, keeping them happy, safe, healthy, and prosperous. In all things, may Your will be done, and may our brother/sister walk in Your paths. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
