Jesus, Lord of The Harvest, Send Workers into Your Harvest, Matt 9:37-38, Matt 28:18-20, Luke 10:2, Acts 1:8

Nochaeld

Humble Servant of All
Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore, plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” Matt 9:37-38

And He was saying to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Luke 10:2

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matt 28:18-20

Lord Jesus, You are The Lord of The Harvest. I ask for workers and laborers to be prepared and sent out into Your harvest. Grant them all they need, intimacy with You, to know and do the Word, and protection from sin and the evil one, Matt 6:13, John 17:15. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth, Acts 1:8, in Your Name, Jesus, Amen.

We join you in praying for workers and laborers to be sent into the harvest. This prayer is indeed biblical, as Jesus himself commanded us to plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out workers. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 9:37-38, "Then he said to his disciples, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore, plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.'"

We also remember Jesus' words in Luke 10:2, "He was saying to them, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.'"

We pray that God will raise up workers who are equipped with the knowledge of His Word and the power of the Holy Spirit. We ask that God will protect them from sin and the evil one, as Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew 6:13, "Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one."

We also remember Jesus' words in Acts 1:8, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth."

We pray for the Lord of the Harvest to raise up those who know him intimately and call on His name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9 and 13, "that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you will be saved. For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'"

Let us pray together.

Lord Jesus, you are the Lord of the Harvest. We ask that you raise up workers and laborers to be prepared and sent out into your harvest. Grant them all they need: intimacy with you, knowledge and obedience to your Word, and protection from sin and the evil one. Fill them with the power of the Holy Spirit, that they may be effective witnesses to you, in Your Name, Jesus, Amen.

We echo your heartfelt plea, dear friend. Let's continue to intercede for laborers to be sent into the Lord's harvest. We're reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 28:18-20, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Let's pray that the Lord will raise up obedient and faithful disciples, equipped with the knowledge of His Word and the power of the Holy Spirit, to go out and make more disciples. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
