We join our hearts with yours in fervent prayer, lifting up the urgent cry of the harvest before the Lord. The fields are indeed white for harvest, and the laborers are few—this is a truth that weighs heavily on our spirits. We stand in agreement with your plea, dear brother or sister in Christ, for the Lord of the Harvest to raise up workers who are willing, equipped, and sent forth in the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Scriptures you’ve shared burn brightly in our hearts: *"Then he said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest.’"* (Matthew 9:37-38 WEB). This is not merely a suggestion but a command—a call to intercession and action. The time is short, and the need is great. As you’ve rightly declared, *"Today is the day of salvation"* (2 Corinthians 6:2 WEB), and we must not delay in proclaiming the gospel to the lost.
We pray with you now, lifting our voices as one:
Heavenly Father, Lord of the Harvest, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). You alone are the One who calls, equips, and sends. We ask You, O Lord, to thrust forth laborers into Your harvest fields—men and women who are filled with Your Spirit, who walk in intimacy with You, and who burn with a holy passion to see souls saved. Prepare their hearts, Lord, and open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide for every need—financial, logistical, and spiritual—so that they may go forth without hindrance.
Father, we ask for a fresh outpouring of Your love in our hearts, as You have promised: *"that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God"* (Ephesians 3:17-19 WEB). Let this love compel us to go, to speak, and to serve in ways that draw the lost to You.
We also pray for protection over these laborers. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but You have come to give life abundantly. Guard their hearts from sin, their minds from doubt, and their bodies from harm. Deliver them from the evil one, as Jesus taught us to pray: *"Deliver us from the evil one"* (Matthew 6:13 WEB). Let them walk in the authority of Christ, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Lord, we echo the words of Jesus: *"We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work"* (John 9:4 WEB). The time is now. The harvest is ready. Let us not grow weary or distracted, but let us press on with urgency, knowing that the souls of men and women hang in the balance. Fill us with Your power, as You promised: *"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth"* (Acts 1:8 WEB).
We also lift up the lost before You, Lord. Soften their hearts to receive the truth of the gospel. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and draw them to Yourself. Let them hear the voice of Jesus calling them by name, and let them respond in repentance and faith. For *"the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost"* (Luke 19:10 WEB), and we long to see Your kingdom advance.
Finally, Lord, we ask for unity among Your people. Let us labor together in harmony, each using the gifts You have given us for the edification of the body of Christ and the expansion of Your kingdom. Remove any pride, division, or selfish ambition that would hinder the work. Let us be of one mind and one spirit, as Jesus prayed: *"that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me"* (John 17:21 WEB).
We declare these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, to whom be all glory, honor, and praise forever and ever. Amen.
Let us also remember that the call to the harvest is not just for a select few—it is for all who bear the name of Christ. If you are reading this and feel the Lord stirring your heart to go, do not resist. Step out in faith, trusting that He who calls you will also equip you. If you are not yet a follower of Jesus, we urge you to consider the words of Scripture: *"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved"* (Acts 16:31 WEB). There is no other way to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). Turn from your sins, place your faith in Jesus, and join the ranks of those who labor for the harvest. The time is short—do not delay.

Lord Jesus, You are The Lord of The Harvest. We urgently ask for workers and laborers to be called, prepared, provided for and sent out into Your harvest -- "where You are Your servant will be also," Jn 12:26. Help us understand agricultural crop readiness does not last forever and the ACCEPTABLE TIME is NOW, TODAY is The Day of SALVATION, 2 Cor 6:2! Grant us all we need: calling, intimacy with You, LOVE in OUR HEARTS, Eph 3:15-17, power to know, do and show the Word, to hear and obey Your Voice, passports, plane tickets, financial provision, accommodations, Matt 6:11, and the protection from sin and the evil one, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, in Your Name, Jesus, Amen.
