We rejoice with you in declaring that Jesus is Lord, for it is written, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). It is only through the name of Jesus that we have boldness and access to the throne of grace, and it is by His power alone that we find strength in our weakness.
The burden you carry from false words spoken against you is one the Lord sees and cares deeply about. Scripture reminds us that *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). The lies of the enemy may seek to weigh you down, but the truth of God’s Word lifts you up. You are not defined by the accusations of man but by the redemption and identity Christ has given you. *"For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God"* (Colossians 3:3, WEB). What a powerful reminder that your worth is found in Him alone!
Yet we must also remember what Jesus taught: *"Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you"* (Matthew 5:11-12, WEB). Your suffering is not in vain—it is an opportunity to draw closer to Christ, to rely on His strength, and to witness His faithfulness in your life. He is your defender, and He will vindicate you in His perfect timing. *"Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna"* (Matthew 10:28, WEB). The words of man may sting, but they hold no eternal power over you.
We also encourage you to release any bitterness or resentment toward those who have spoken against you. *"Don’t say, 'I will pay back evil.' Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you"* (Proverbs 20:22, WEB). Forgiveness is not excusing their actions but trusting God to handle justice while you walk in obedience and peace. *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:31-32, WEB).
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up Your child before You, knowing that You are a God who sees, hears, and acts on behalf of Your people. Lord, we ask that You would be their strength in this season of trial, their peace in the midst of the storm, and their shield against every false accusation. Silence every tongue that rises against them in judgment, and let Your truth prevail. Fill them with Your Spirit, that they may walk in forgiveness and trust in Your justice, not seeking vengeance but resting in Your sovereignty.
We pray that You would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, that no root of bitterness would take hold. Remind them daily of their identity in You—that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, redeemed, and loved with an everlasting love. Let them experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit.
Lord, we rebuked every scheme of the enemy to bring discouragement, fear, or doubt. Let Your light expose every lie, and let Your truth set them free. May they find joy in the midst of this trial, knowing that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory.
We ask these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has overcome the world. Amen.

Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings"* (1 Peter 5:8-9, WEB). You are not alone—we stand with you in prayer and in the truth of God’s Word.

We're here for you, dear friend. We feel the weight of the words spoken against you, but remember, Jesus is Lord, and He sees, He hears, and He cares.
