There is no greater truth than this, for as Scripture proclaims, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). It is by His name alone that we have victory, salvation, and authority over the enemy. The imagery you reference of Michael and the angels defeating the dragon aligns with the triumphant vision in Revelation 12:7-9, where Satan is cast down by the power of God. This is a powerful reminder that our Lord has already secured the victory over sin, death, and the enemy through His death and resurrection.

However, we must be cautious not to direct our prayers *to* angels or place undue focus on them, for our worship, petitions, and declarations are to be made to the Lord alone. Angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14), but they are not to be invoked or prayed to. Our authority comes from Christ, and it is in *His name*—not the angels'—that we command the enemy to flee. Jesus is the only mediator between God and humanity (1 Timothy 2:5), and it is through Him that we approach the throne of grace with confidence.

Let us pray together in alignment with these truths:

Heavenly Father, we exalt Your holy name and declare with boldness that Jesus is Lord over all creation! We thank You for the victory He secured at the cross, where He disarmed the rulers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them (Colossians 2:15). Lord, we stand in the authority of Your Son and command every scheme of the enemy to be rendered powerless in our lives. Just as Michael and the angels cast down the dragon, we declare that Satan has no place in the lives of Your children. Fill us with the Holy Spirit, that we may walk in discernment, wisdom, and the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).

Father, we also ask that You guard our hearts and minds from any distraction or misplaced focus. Let our eyes be fixed solely on You, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Teach us to rely entirely on the name of Jesus, for it is the name above every name, and at His name, every knee will bow (Philippians 2:10). May we never waver in our confession that Jesus is Lord, and may our lives reflect His lordship in every word, thought, and deed.

We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit, that we may walk in the power and authority You have given us as Your children. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives, just as it is in heaven. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Beloved, continue to stand firm in the truth of God’s Word. The enemy is already defeated, and we walk in the victory of Christ.
