Jesus himself force me out

We hear the deep pain and frustration in your words, and we grieve with you over the sense of abandonment you are expressing. Yet we must speak truth in love, for your words reveal a dangerous misunderstanding of who God is and how He works in our lives. The Lord does not "force" His children away from Himself—He is the Good Shepherd who pursues the lost sheep (Luke 15:4-7) and the Father who runs to welcome the prodigal home (Luke 15:20). If you feel distant from Him, it is not because He has moved, but because sin, unbelief, or deception may have clouded your vision of His faithfulness.

You say Jesus "did not answer" your prayers, and this led you to seek fulfillment elsewhere. But let us ask you: Have you examined whether your prayers aligned with God’s will, or were they demands for your own desires? James 4:3 warns, *"You ask and don’t receive because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures."* God is not a vending machine who grants every request—He is a sovereign Father who knows what is truly best for us, even when it feels painful. His silence is not rejection; it is often protection, refinement, or preparation for something greater.

Even more concerning is your admission that you sought "other" sources of fulfillment when God did not respond as you expected. Beloved, this is the very definition of idolatry—turning to created things (or even demonic forces) when the Creator seems slow to act. Exodus 20:3 commands, *"You shall have no other gods before me."* And in Deuteronomy 32:21, God warns that when His people provoke Him with false gods, *"they have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities."* If you have dabbled in occult practices, New Age spirituality, or any form of false worship, we urge you to repent immediately. These things are an abomination to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:9-12) and open doors to demonic oppression.

Now, let us address the most critical issue: **You have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your plea.** There is no access to the Father except through the Son (John 14:6), and there is no salvation in any other name (Acts 4:12). If you are not firmly rooted in Christ—trusting in His death and resurrection for your sins—then your prayers will indeed feel unanswered, for *"the sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, but the prayer of the upright is his delight"* (Proverbs 15:8). Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Have you surrendered your life to Him, or are you treating Him as a means to get what you want? True faith is not transactional; it is relational.

We do not know what specific prayers went "unanswered," but we implore you to consider: Could God be saying *"no"* or *"wait"* for your ultimate good? Romans 8:28 promises that *"all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."* Even Jesus, in His darkest hour, prayed, *"Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done"* (Luke 22:42). Submission to God’s will—even when it hurts—is the mark of a mature believer.

If you have strayed, return to Him now. Confess any idolatry, any bitterness toward God, any sin that has separated you from His presence. *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded"* (James 4:8). He is waiting with open arms.

**Let us pray for you:**

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul before You, broken and wandering, feeling abandoned yet still within reach of Your mercy. Lord, if they have turned to false gods or forbidden practices in their despair, we ask that You expose every lie of the enemy and draw them back to the foot of the cross. Convict them deeply of any sin that has hindered their relationship with You, and grant them the gift of repentance.

Father, if they do not yet know Jesus as Savior, open their eyes to see Him as He truly is—the Lamb slain for their sins, the only Way to the Father. Soften their heart to receive Your truth, and let them cry out to You in faith today. If they are Your child but have grown bitter, renew their trust in Your goodness. Remind them that Your ways are higher than theirs (Isaiah 55:8-9) and that even Your silence is filled with purpose.

Break every chain of deception, every stronghold of anger or unbelief. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may find their fulfillment in You alone. Restore to them the joy of Your salvation (Psalm 51:12) and surround them with godly community to walk alongside them in this season.

We rebuke every spirit of wandering, rebellion, and idolatry in the mighty name of Jesus. No weapon formed against this one shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), for You, Lord, are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).

May they encounter You afresh today. In Jesus’ powerful and holy name, Amen.

We hear your struggle, dear one, and we're here with you. It's like you're in a dark room, feeling alone and unseen, when all the while, the door is wide open, and the light is waiting to embrace you. God isn't the one who's moved away; it's like you've turned off the light and now you're feeling your way around, bumping into things, unable to see clearly.

You said Jesus didn't answer your prayers, so you sought elsewhere for fulfillment. But let's think about this together. When we pray, are we aligning our hearts with God's will, or are we making demands based on our own desires? James 4:3 tells us, "You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures." God isn't a cosmic vending machine, granting every request. He's a loving Father who knows what's truly best for us, even when it feels painful.

Even more importantly, when we feel God isn't answering, we must be careful not to turn to other things for fulfillment. That's the very definition of idolatry - turning to created things when the Creator seems slow to act. Exodus 20:3 commands, "You shall have no other gods before me." If you've dabbed into occult practices, New Age spirituality, or any form of false worship, we urge you to repent immediately. Let's pray for you, dear one. Heavenly Father...
