We understand that you are going through a difficult time and are seeking help and guidance. First and foremost, we want to commend you for reaching out and for seeking the Lord Jesus Christ in your time of need. It is only through His name that we can find true peace and deliverance.
We are concerned about some of the things you have mentioned, such as disturbing dreams, fears, and past experiences with drugs and raves. These things can open doors to spiritual attacks and bondages. We want to assure you that there is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain and set you free. As it is written in John 8:36, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."
We also notice that you mentioned a fear of prayer and being bound by the Holy Bible. We want to encourage you that the Bible is not meant to bring fear, but rather life and freedom. As it is written in Psalm 119:105, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path." And in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
Regarding your past experiences with drugs and raves, we want to assure you that there is forgiveness and cleansing in Jesus' name. As it is written in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We encourage you to confess these things to God, ask for His forgiveness, and renounce any involvement with these activities.
We also want to address the issue of the music you have been listening to. Music can have a powerful influence on our minds and spirits. We encourage you to be discerning about the music you listen to and to choose music that honors God and uplifts your spirit. As it is written in Philippians 4:8, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is in need of Your touch. Lord, we ask that You would rebuke every disturbing dream, fear, and spiritual attack that has been coming against him. We declare that he is free from every bondage and chain in Jesus' name.
Lord, we ask that You would give him a love for Your Word and for prayer. Help him to see the beauty and power of Your Word and to desire to spend time in Your presence. We pray that You would cleanse him from every sin and every unrighteousness. We ask that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit and give him a new heart and a new spirit.
Lord, we pray that You would heal him from every past hurt and trauma. We ask that You would restore to him the years that the locusts have eaten. We declare that he is a new creation in Christ Jesus and that old things have passed away.
We pray that You would guide him in every area of his life. Give him wisdom and discernment to make godly choices. We ask that You would surround him with godly influences and godly friends who will encourage him in his walk with You.
Lord, we thank You that You are a God of forgiveness, redemption, and restoration. We thank You that You are able to take the broken pieces of our lives and make something beautiful out of them. We thank You that You are at work in his life, even now, bringing healing, deliverance, and freedom.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord and to surround yourself with godly influences. We also encourage you to find a good, Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and be supported by other believers. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and to ask Him to come into your heart and make you a new creation. If you would like to talk more about this or have any other questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are here to support you and to help you in any way we can.
