We hear your heartfelt cry for favor and help and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord Jesus, for He hears those who call upon His name. We understand the weariness that comes from suffering and the longing for good and godly people to walk beside you, and we stand together with you seeking God's grace and mercy in this season.

The Lord knows your suffering and He is near to you in it. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. We are reminded that His favor is not earned but given by His grace, and He surrounds His people with it like a shield. For you will bless the righteous. Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield Psalm 5:12. For Yahweh God is a sun and a shield. Yahweh will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly Psalm 84:11. His favor is found as we walk in kindness and truth before Him. Don't let kindness and truth forsake you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man Proverbs 3:3-4.

We also know that suffering, while painful, is not forgotten by God and He uses even hard seasons for our good and His glory. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28. Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing James 1:2-4. And His promise remains that after you have suffered a little while, He Himself will restore you. But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you 1 Peter 5:10.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, lifting up this dear one who is crying out for Your favor and help. Lord, pour out Your grace upon them and let them know Your presence in a tangible way. Surround them with Your favor as with a shield and withhold no good thing that is according to Your perfect will. We ask that You place good, godly people in their life, friends and brothers and sisters in Christ who will walk in truth, offer encouragement, and help bear their burdens, for we know that he who walks with wise men will be wise Proverbs 13:20. Heal their brokenness, comfort their heart, and in Your mercy bring an end to this season of suffering according to Your timing and purpose. Strengthen their faith to trust You more deeply, to seek You daily in prayer and in Your Word, and to find hope not only in relief from pain but in Your eternal promises. Let Your will be done in their life and let them experience Your peace that surpasses understanding as they continue to call upon Jesus. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only hope, Amen.

We hear the longing in your prayer for favor, for good people to walk with you, and for relief after carrying suffering for so long. Feeling alone in that weight is heavy, and we want you to know we are holding you before the Lord with care.

Suffering can make the world feel smaller and more isolating, and it makes sense you would ask God for companions who are kind and steady. You are not unseen in that desire. God made us to need one another, and often His help comes through the presence of caring people around us.

One small step that has helped many who feel as you do is to lean into a local community of faith, even in a simple way. If there is a church near you where you feel safe, consider going this week and letting someone there know you have been feeling lonely and would welcome fellowship. Just being gathered with others in worship can gently remind us we belong to something larger than our pain. If you already have one trusted person, a pastor or friend, reaching out and naming this need to them this week can open a door for support.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. Surround them with Your nearness, bring trustworthy people into their life, and give relief and hope in the places that hurt. Lead them step by step and let them know they are loved and not alone. Amen.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your cry for favor and for an end to suffering is a right and needful prayer to bring to the Lord Jesus, for He alone is the fountain of all true favor and the only succor in affliction.

Know this, that the favor you seek is found not by mere asking alone, but in the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ. Through His sweet savor and His perfect merits the Father accepts His people, and to as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God. What a favor is this, to be called His children and to cry Abba, Father. This same Jesus has risen from the dead and lives to plead for His own, and in your ears you may hear His almighty pleas ever speaking in your favor. If you have received Him by faith, you have already the greatest favor of all, and from that all other mercies flow. Do not take sacred liberty as sinister license, but let His favor constrain you to dutiful allegiance and to a holy fear which trembles to impute any wrong to your Covenant God, knowing the grandeur of His character.

Concerning your suffering, remember that our Lord Himself was made perfect through suffering, not in character for He was ever perfect, but officially as the Captain of our salvation. He suffered being tempted and being despised, and His was an unparalleled suffering, the suffering of a pure and holy Being who never rebelled nor turned back. Therefore He is able to succor them that are tempted. He knows your frame and enters very fully into your trying experience. It may be consistent with the clearest manifestations of Divine favor that you are yet tried, for Divine Providence is not put under your supervision, but under His wise and generous hand. He will in His time thrust out your enemies before you and clear the way, and He will give you grace to follow where He leads. Often He teaches His people patiently to wait till their change comes, with eyes fixed upon their suffering Lord at the foot of the Cross.

I pray for you now that the Lord in His mercy would lift the weight you carry, that He would surround you with good and godly people who will walk with you in truth and point you to Christ, and that He would grant you strong confidence in His fatherly care. May He show you His favor in Christ Jesus, sustain you by secret supplies of grace, and in His perfect wisdom and love bring you deliverance from affliction, and at last bring you into the joy of your Lord where suffering shall be no more. Seek Him still in prayer, pleading the blood of Jesus, and if the answer tarries, say still, My soul, wait.

Your prayer for favor and for relief from suffering has been heard, and we have brought it before the Lord Jesus with thankfulness for your trust in Him.

You ask for favor, for good people, and for suffering to end. Scripture teaches us to seek the favor of God not as a sudden escape from all hardship, but as His nearness and help drawn to us through a sincere purpose to do good and through frequent and faithful prayer. When we set our hearts toward Him in this way, even those things that now feel heavy and insupportable can become lighter, because He Himself carries us and gives us hope for what is to come.

Do not think that your suffering is forgotten or without meaning. Our Lord Jesus Himself was made perfect through sufferings and suffered outside the gate to sanctify His people, and He calls us to bear His reproach and to have fellowship with Him there. Suffering does not by itself prove that God has turned away. For those who love Him, tribulation can purify, strengthen, and make the soul more glorious, and perseverance under trial is a proof that our hope is not empty but is set on the good things He has promised. There is nothing so strong as a long suffering soul. Like a spark falling into the deep it is quenched, so troubles fall upon such a soul and quickly vanish without overturning it, because love dwells within like a faithful gardener who does not allow thorns to take root, who is not easily provoked and thinks no evil.

You also ask for good people in your life. This is a good and right desire, and God often provides it through His Church. True friendship is best formed not merely on acquaintance, interest, or convenience, but on godliness. Pray that the Lord will place beside you companions in the faith who will not be ashamed of your affliction but will share in it with you, who will encourage you, pray with you, and walk with you toward Christ. Seek that fellowship diligently among the people of God, and be such a faithful friend to others as you hope to receive.

So we pray for you now. Lord Jesus, look with mercy upon this heart that cries out to You. Grant Your favor according to Your wisdom and love. Surround this life with godly and faithful people who will speak truth, show love, and help bear burdens. In suffering, grant long suffering, patience, and a sure hope in Your promises. Comfort where there is pain, strengthen where there is weakness, and lead step by step out of disordered passions and anxieties into the mild and desirable path of virtue. And in Your perfect time, bring full deliverance, for You came to preach deliverance to captives and to divide the spoils of the strong. Keep this soul in Your care until that day, and let Your will be done. Amen.
