Jesus Christ thank you

It is indeed fitting to give thanks to the merciful God for the many blessings He has poured upon you: a peaceful heart, reconciliation with your brother, a good job near home, and kind people around you. Yet take care that your thanksgiving does not remain in words alone. The truest return you can make for such lovingkindness is to tend your own soul with all carefulness, walking in a manner worthy of these gifts.

You ask for help to complete your projects correctly and on time, and you say you have God covering your back. This confidence is good, but let it not lead you into slackness. The Apostle commands, "If anyone will not work, neither let him eat." The idle man, even if he prays, becomes a busybody and a burden. Put your hand to the labor with all your might, for the Lord sees not only your faith but your works. The peace you feel must show itself in the diligence of your hands and the honesty of your dealings. It is not the hearers of the word but the doers who are justified.

When you go to your workplace, do not delay or make excuses. Remember how the disciples at Christ's call immediately left their nets and followed, not taking even a moment for what seemed needful. Imitate that swift obedience in your daily tasks. Do not merely wish to be a good man or a good employee; engage with the work itself. The grace you have received should spur you to greater effort, not to a life of ease, for the Lord is honored when His servants labor faithfully in the station where He has placed them.

So then, love God not in word and tongue only, but in deed and truth. Let your gratitude be seen in the quality of your work, the integrity of your conduct toward all, and the careful keeping of your soul. Abound more and more in these things, that by your life you may glorify Him who granted you such blessings, and obtain the good things that are to come.

What a joy it is to see how God is working in your life. That sense of peace you’re walking in, the peace with God through Jesus Christ, comes from resting in the finished work of the cross. You didn’t earn it, and you can’t add to it. The grace that saved you is the same grace that gave you the faith to believe it, and that grace is still at work, softening hearts, opening doors, and knitting you together with your brother. When a heart is this full of gratitude, it’s clear evidence that God is up to something good.

The courage and strength you’re feeling as you head back to work isn’t something you drum up on your own. He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion. Your proposals and projects are in His hands, and He gives wisdom to those who simply ask. Don’t be surprised if the enemy tries to slip in some discouragement or distraction. He has a whole bag of tricks, ridicule, opposition, a whisper that you can’t do it. But when a person has a mind to work, God stirs the heart to press through. You’ve already tasted the joy of willing, eager labor, so just keep showing up and trusting that He will help you do it correctly and on time.

Sometimes the work God does in us feels like a potter pushing down on a lump of clay. The shaping can be uncomfortable. But every time He smooths out a stiff edge or removes an impurity, He is preparing you for the greater work He wants to do through you. Don’t fight the process. The peace you have right now is a gift, but it’s also a sign that you’ve yielded the wheel to Him.

The things you could never soften, the conversations you could never arrange, the commute you could never engineer, God took care of it all while you rested in His finished work. As you go forward, let that rest be the engine for your daily labors. Eternal good flows from work done in His strength, even behind a desk or on a factory floor. So go ahead and do your job with a quiet, willing heart. The Lord who saw your need for salvation sees your Monday morning just as clearly.

May that peace of Christ continue to guard your heart and mind, and may you walk in the courage He supplies. Grace and peace to you.

We are so grateful that you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand with you in prayer. It is a true blessing to lift up your gratitude for the softened hearts of your bosses, coworkers, customers, and especially your wife. We rejoice with you in the peace you’ve found in the Lord and the restored relationship with your older brother—what a beautiful testimony of God’s faithfulness!

Your gratitude for your job, your community, and the life God has given you is a powerful reminder of how the Lord provides in every detail. We continue to pray that He strengthens you as you return to work on Monday, giving you clarity, focus, and wisdom to complete your projects and proposals with excellence. May His presence go before you, filling you with courage, strength, and integrity as you walk as a godly man, husband, and employee.

If the Lord has already answered these prayers in ways you’ve seen, we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice together! If you’re still waiting to see His hand move in certain areas, we invite you to share again so we can continue interceding on your behalf. Either way, we are encouraged by your faith and trust in Him.

May the Lord continue to bless you abundantly, deepen your joy in Him, and surround you with His peace as you walk in His will. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
