Jesus Christ please help me

Dwsariator

Servant of All
Dear God please help me stop shaking and sweating and having AWS. Please help me overcome my AUD. Please help me get back to work tomorrow and to get my projects and proposals done correctly and on time. Please soften the hearts of my bosses and my coworkers and my customers and especially my wife. Thank you God I hope that you are having a good Father's Day,! Please let today be My last day of excessive alcohol drinking. Please help me control my AUD. Please help our adult kid's with their needs. Please help me have a good talk with my boss tomorrow about the project that I have to estimate this week properly and on time along with the other quotes that I have to get done before Wednesday morning. Please help me prepare for a talk with my bosses about how the project that another project manager estimated lost so much money and then he quit his job probably because he underestimated the job and know I have to complete the sloppy job. Please remove the stress and anxiety and help me sleep better at night and to get rest before I go back to work each day. Please help me and my wife to be nice to each other and to help each other because I really don't want to be separated from her or divorced. Please forgive me for not taking better care of my body and my mind and my relationship with my wife. It's not easy that's why I need help from you and my lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen thank you Jesus

We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting up every word of your heart to our Heavenly Father. You have come to the right place, for it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we find true healing, restoration, and strength. We rejoice that you have called upon Him, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Your acknowledgment of Jesus as Lord and Savior is the foundation upon which we build this prayer, and we declare that His power is more than sufficient to meet every need you have expressed.

First, we rebuke the spirit of addiction that has taken hold of your life. Alcohol use disorder (AUD) is not merely a physical struggle but a spiritual battle, and we command it to loose its grip on you in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word of God tells us, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). We declare that the way of escape is here, and we pray that you will walk in it with courage and faith. The shaking, sweating, and withdrawal symptoms you are experiencing are real, but they are not stronger than the healing power of Christ. We pray for supernatural strength to overcome these symptoms, for peace to flood your body, and for the Holy Spirit to fill every void that alcohol has left. "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31).

We also lift up your marriage, for it is a sacred covenant before God. The strain you feel is understandable, but we declare that God is able to restore what has been broken. The Bible tells us, "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken" (Ecclesiastes 4:12). That third strand is God Himself, and we pray that He will weave His presence into every interaction between you and your wife. We rebuke any bitterness, resentment, or unkindness that has taken root, and we ask God to soften both of your hearts toward one another. "Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32). We pray for open communication, patience, and a renewed commitment to love one another as Christ loves the church. Marriage is a reflection of Christ’s relationship with His bride, the church, and we pray that your marriage will be a testimony to His grace and faithfulness.

Your work situation is heavy on your heart, and we lift it up to the Lord. The stress and anxiety you feel about returning to work, completing projects, and facing your bosses and coworkers are valid, but we declare that God is your provider and your peace. "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22). We pray for wisdom as you prepare to discuss the projects, especially the one that was mishandled by another. May the Lord give you clarity, confidence, and favor in the eyes of your bosses and coworkers. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5). We also pray for your customers, that God would soften their hearts and grant you favor in their eyes. May your work be a testimony to excellence and integrity, bringing glory to God.

We address the root of your struggle with AUD, which often stems from a desire to escape pain, stress, or unresolved issues. The Bible warns us, "Don’t be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit" (Ephesians 5:18). We rebuke the lie that alcohol can bring comfort or relief, for true comfort comes from the Holy Spirit. We pray that you will be filled afresh with His presence, that you will find rest in Him, and that He will heal the wounds that have driven you to seek solace in alcohol. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). We also pray for your physical body, that God would restore what has been damaged and strengthen you to care for yourself as a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

For your children, we pray that God would meet every need they have, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. We declare that He is a Father to the fatherless and a defender of the weak (Psalm 68:5). May He surround them with His love and protection, and may they grow in wisdom and favor with God and man.

Now, we join our hearts with yours in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for this brother who has cried out to You in his time of need. We declare that You are his healer, his provider, his peace, and his strength. Lord, we ask You to break the chains of addiction in his life. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in victory and freedom. Give him the strength to resist temptation and the courage to seek help and accountability. We pray for his body, that You would restore health and vitality to every cell and system that has been affected by alcohol.

Father, we lift up his marriage to You. Soften the hearts of both him and his wife, that they may forgive one another and extend grace as You have extended grace to them. Restore the love, trust, and intimacy that the enemy has sought to destroy. May their marriage be a testimony to Your redeeming power.

For his work, Lord, we ask for Your wisdom, favor, and peace. Give him clarity as he prepares for his meetings, and grant him confidence in his abilities. May his bosses and coworkers see Your hand upon his life, and may his work bring glory to Your name.

We pray for his children, that You would meet every need and draw them closer to You. Surround them with godly influences and protect them from harm.

Father, we ask that You remove the stress and anxiety that weighs heavily on his heart. Grant him restful sleep and renew his strength each day. Help him to cast all his cares upon You, knowing that You care for him (1 Peter 5:7).

Finally, Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We declare that today is the day of salvation, healing, and restoration for this brother. May he walk in the fullness of Your promises, and may his life be a testimony to Your grace. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

We encourage you to seek out a biblical counselor, a pastor, or a Christian support group for accountability and encouragement. The journey to freedom is not one you have to walk alone. Surround yourself with believers who will pray for you, hold you accountable, and remind you of God’s promises. "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). You are not alone, and with God, all things are possible. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Brother, we hear the weight you’re carrying, the physical shaking, the anxiety about work, the fear of losing your wife, and the honest admission that you can’t beat this on your own. That last part is actually a grace: you’ve turned to the only One who truly can help, and we’re standing with you in that.

The shaking and sweating you’re describing can be serious signs of alcohol withdrawal. Would you be willing to call your doctor today or visit an urgent care clinic? We’re not trying to scare you, but a medical check-in can keep you safe while you walk this out. God often uses wise professionals to help our bodies heal, and there’s no shame in it.

For the drinking itself, something that’s helped many men we’ve prayed with is finding a group of believers who meet regularly to support one another in recovery, like Celebrate Recovery or a similar church-based program. Just sitting in a room where others understand the struggle can lift some of the isolation you’re feeling. Your wife might also find hope if she sees you reaching out.

For work tonight, maybe try this: take ten minutes to jot down what you absolutely need your boss to understand about the project estimate and the job you inherited. A simple outline, not polished, just clear, can quiet the mental chatter. Then pause and hand that paper over to God before you walk into the conversation. You can also pray specifically for your boss’s heart, just as you asked.

Your marriage is on your heart, and that’s a good place to start. Is there one small, genuine kindness you could show your wife today, maybe a short note or an offer to help with something she normally carries? Not as a grand gesture, just a quiet step toward being nicer to each other. Those small moments often open the door for God’s softening.

Now let’s lift what you’ve shared to the Lord together.

Jesus, we come with this man, raw and trembling. Hold him steady. Protect his body as he stops drinking, give him the courage to seek medical help if he needs it. Bring clarity to his mind as he prepares for work conversations, and calm the knots of anxiety. Soften the hearts of his bosses, his coworkers, and especially his wife. Build in their home small shoots of gentleness and trust. And for today, give him the victory of one day without excessive drinking. In Your name we ask it. Amen.

You are in the deep water now, and the ship is rolling hard. Your body trembles, sweat stands on your brow, and inside your chest there's a shaking that feels like the whole frame of things is coming loose. And the temptation is to fix every eye on the storm, the work that looms, the conversations you dread, the tension with your wife, the shame of the empty bottles. But hear this: all the water in the sea cannot sink your vessel so long as you keep it outside. The danger begins when the water gets inside. Right now, the enemy of your soul would love nothing more than for all this trouble to flood your heart and drown the one thing that can hold you steady.

So let me ask you gently: what is inside? Beneath the panic, beneath the swirling thoughts about bosses and deadlines and whether you've ruined everything, is there a cry there? Even a groan? You have been praying, and that is no small thing. The Lord says, "I am the Lord their God, and will hear them." But He would not hear if you did not pray. The very fact that you are calling out, shaking and sweating though you are, is a sure token that mercy is already on the way. The Master's ear is inclined to a broken man who can barely get the words out. Do not despise the cry because it is ragged; the sweetest music in Heaven is a sinner's need flung toward Christ.

Now about the work you must face tomorrow. I know your mind is racing through the lists and the estimates and the mess another man left behind. You are saying, "I must work, I must get it done, or everything will collapse." And yet, and let this sink in, the Lord Jesus knows what that "must" feels like. When He walked among us, He said, "I must work." Not, "I may if I feel able," but an imperious necessity pressed upon Him. Yet what bound Him was not the lashing of anxiety, but the cords of love. He could not sit still and see men perish. And you, too, are not meant to labor under a whip of panic. The same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead works in you, and where He truly works, He makes men work, but He does not make them fret. He stirs them to diligence, not despair. Lay your projects before Him calmly tonight. Say, "Lord, You know what must be done, and You know I have no strength for it. Let Your strength be made perfect in my weakness, and let me trust You for the outcome." Then sleep, if you can, like a child whose Father holds tomorrow.

And your wife, that dear one whose heart you long to see softened. You are afraid of losing her, and that fear itself is a kind of grinding sorrow. But remember, the covenant of marriage is not built on the shifting sand of your performance or your failures. It rests on something deeper. You cannot trace your genealogy back to find a claim on her love, nor can you present any merit to earn it back. Marriage is a chosen bond, a covenant, and the great Mercy that brought you together can restore what has grown cold. You have confessed your fault: you have not cared for your body, your mind, or this relationship as you ought. Do not wait until you are whole to draw near to her. A broken husband who says, "I am weak and I need help," is more approachable than one who hides behind pride. The same Lord who restores the years the locusts have eaten can turn your home from a battlefield into a refuge. It may begin with nothing more than a quiet word, a small kindness, a genuine "Forgive me."

And this shaking, this sweating, the grip of drink on your life, do not think Christ is unfamiliar with men who have been spellbound. Peter slept even when the cock crowed the first time; he heard it and did not stir. The spell of Satan is heavy, and he knows how to cast men into a slumber where they do not fight but yield. Yet what woke Peter was not the bird's sharp cry, but a look from the Lord Jesus. That look did not speak condemnation; it spoke love that broke his heart. And today, my brother, you are under that same look. The Lord has turned and seen you. Not to cast you off, but to restore you. You shall be as though you had never been cast aside, for He is the God who hears, and the God who puts away sin.

Truly, you may yet stand on the shore and look back at this season and say, "The storm was real, but the grace was greater. I was sifted like wheat, but He prayed for me, and my faith did not fail." He will keep you. He will keep your marriage. He will keep your mind in the work before you. Only run back to Him now, and let Him do what you cannot.

Lord Jesus, look upon this man, this dear, struggling soul who has honestly poured out his need to You. He shakes; steady him with Your unseen hand. He fears the morning; go before him into that workplace and prepare the hearts of those he must face. He grieves over his home; build a hedge of mercy around it and let love revive. Break the chains of alcohol, not by his might but by Your Spirit's power. Give him true rest tonight, not the stupor of exhaustion, but the sleep of a child who knows his Father watches. And let him wake with this assurance sealed upon his heart: "I am His, and He is mine, and nothing shall separate me from His love." Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your heartfelt prayer request, laying bare the weight you’ve been carrying—those tremors, the sweat, the withdrawal that won’t let go, and the battle with alcohol that has taken more from you than you ever meant to give. It takes real courage to cry out for help, and we want you to know we have not stopped lifting your name before the throne.

We’ve prayed that today would indeed be your last day bound by excessive drinking, that the Lord would break every chain and fill you with His peace that surpasses understanding. We’ve asked Him to steady your hands, calm your spirit, and give you restful sleep so you can wake refreshed and ready to face each day with clarity and strength. We’ve stood in agreement with you for healing in your mind and body, for wisdom as you prepare those estimates and proposals, and for favor with your bosses, coworkers, and customers—especially your wife. May her heart be softened toward you, and may the two of you find grace and kindness in your words and actions toward one another.

We’ve prayed for your adult children, too, that the Lord would meet their needs and draw them close to Him. And we’ve asked Him to go before you in that conversation with your boss, to give you the right words to say and the confidence to speak truth with humility. May He remove the anxiety that has been stealing your peace and replace it with His perfect rest. We’ve also lifted up the unfinished project, asking the Lord to give you wisdom and favor as you work to bring it to completion, and to protect you from the stress of past mistakes.

If the Lord has already begun to answer these prayers—if you’re sleeping better, feeling steadier, or sensing His presence more closely—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the battle is still raging, please don’t hesitate to post again. We are here to stand with you, to keep praying, and to remind you that you are not alone. The same God who parted the Red Sea is fighting for you, and He will not leave you in this struggle.

May the Lord bless you with His peace, His strength, and His unfailing love as you continue to seek Him. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus.
