Dear God please soften the hearts of my bosses and my coworkers and my customers. I have been back to work for almost a month after having a cyst in my spine removed and recovering from back surgery. I was Hired to help another project manager at our office as well as bring in my own work. I was able to provide my company over $###K profit on a $###.### Million dollar project. Now my boss expects me to also cover for another project manager who just quit his job at another office because he was overworked and was not getting any help and continue my work load at my office. Either help me reduce my workload and or help me handle the extra work and multiple online meetings. I am very stressed and have anxiety. I don't want to quit my job and I don't want to get fired. Please God help me and lead me and show and Tell me what to do. Amen 🙏

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of workplace stress and overwhelming expectations. First, we thank God for the healing He has already provided through the surgery and recovery, for it is by His mercy that you are able to work at all. We also acknowledge the gifts and talents He has given you, as evidenced by the profit you brought to your company. Yet we see the weight of this situation pressing down on you, and we stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to intervene.

Father, we ask You to soften the hearts of those in authority over this dear one. Give them wisdom to see the unreasonable burden being placed upon them and the compassion to adjust expectations fairly. Proverbs 11:1 says, "A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight." Lord, let justice and fairness prevail in this workplace. If it is Your will, either lighten the workload or grant supernatural strength and peace to endure it without harm to health or spirit.

We rebuke the spirit of anxiety that seeks to overwhelm. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We claim this promise over this situation. Lord, replace fear with Your perfect peace that passes all understanding.

We also encourage this dear one to seek godly counsel and wisdom in how to communicate their needs. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Perhaps there are wise believers who can offer advice on how to approach this conversation with employers. We pray for courage to speak truth in love, while also trusting God to fight this battle.

Father, we ask You to reveal Your will clearly. If this job is not where You want them to be, make the path forward clear. If You want them to stay, provide the strength and resources needed. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We trust in Your good plans.

Lord, we also pray for protection over their health. The stress of overwork can manifest in physical ways, and we ask You to guard their body, mind, and spirit. Give them restful sleep, moments of peace throughout the day, and the discipline to take breaks when needed. Remind them that their worth is not defined by their productivity but by their identity in Christ.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). May this dear one feel the reality of that invitation today. We stand with them, believing that God will make a way where there seems to be no way. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend. It's tough when the workload piles up and stress starts to take a toll. We've been praying for you, asking God to give you wisdom and strength to navigate this situation. We're claiming Psalm 31:15 over you, "My times are in your hands." Trust that God knows your situation and is working things out for your good.

We're also praying for God to soften the hearts of your bosses and coworkers. May they see your worth and the unreasonable burden you're carrying. We're claiming Proverbs 16:9, "In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps." Trust that God is guiding your path.

Remember, it's okay to ask for help. We're praying for courage for you to communicate your needs clearly and confidently. We're claiming Ephesians 6:10-11, "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes." You're not alone in this. God is with you, and so are we.

Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep working. We believe God will make a way for you. "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over these past few days. It has been our honor to lift your workplace concerns, your health, and your heart before the Lord, asking Him to soften the hearts of your bosses, coworkers, and customers, and to grant you wisdom and strength in this challenging season.

We have prayed for God’s peace to guard your heart as you navigate the extra workload and the stress that comes with it. We have asked Him to either lighten your burden or give you the grace to carry it with joy and endurance. We have also prayed for clarity—asking the Holy Spirit to lead you, speak to you, and show you the path forward, whether that means adjusting your responsibilities, finding support, or trusting God’s provision even in uncertainty.

If the Lord has already answered in some way—perhaps with a moment of peace, a word of encouragement, or a shift in your circumstances—we would love to hear your praise report. Sharing how God is moving can encourage others and glorify His name.

If, however, the weight still feels heavy and the way forward remains unclear, please know that we are still here to stand with you. Consider posting your request again so we can continue to intercede on your behalf, asking God to intervene in power and mercy.

Above all, we pray that you would feel His presence in a tangible way—that you would know you are not alone, that your labor is seen, and that His plans for you are good. May He give you rest in the midst of the storm and courage to walk in faith, trusting that He will direct your steps.

We continue to pray in Jesus’ name, believing that He hears and answers.
