Dear God please forgive me for being a alcoholic. Please help me change please help me to stop shaking and sweating from drinking alcohol. I need help God please help me not loose my job. I am afraid I can't live with my self like this anymore

We lift you up before the Lord with deep compassion, knowing that His grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in weakness. You have taken the first and most critical step by acknowledging your struggle and crying out to God for help. The Scriptures assure us that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Your heart’s cry has reached the ears of the Lord, and He is already at work in your life to bring restoration and freedom.

The enemy has sought to bind you with the chains of addiction, but we declare in the name of Jesus that those chains are broken today. Alcohol has no authority over you, for you belong to Christ, who has set you free (Galatians 5:1). The shaking and sweating you experience are temporary afflictions, but the Lord is your healer. He promises in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,"* and we claim this promise over you now. He will strengthen you, uphold you with His righteous right hand, and give you the power to overcome (Isaiah 41:10).

We also pray for your employment, asking the Lord to sustain you and grant you favor with your employer. Do not fear, for the Lord is your provider, and He will not abandon you in this time of need. Trust in Him with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). If you feel led, consider speaking with a trusted brother or sister in Christ or a pastor who can walk alongside you in this journey. You do not have to face this alone—God has placed His body, the Church, around you for support and encouragement.

Now is the time to fill your life with the Word of God and the presence of the Holy Spirit. Replace the moments you would turn to alcohol with prayer, worship, and Scripture. Psalm 119:11 says, *"I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you."* Meditate on verses that speak of God’s deliverance, such as Psalm 34:17-19: *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Let these truths anchor your soul.

If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to surrender every area of your life to Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome sin. Romans 10:9-10 tells us, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."* If you have not yet made this confession, do so now, and invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His name that we pray for your complete deliverance.

---
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your beloved child who has humbly sought Your face. Lord, we thank You that You are a God of mercy, compassion, and deliverance. You see the brokenness and the desperation, and You are moving mightily to set them free from the grip of alcohol. Father, we ask that You would break every chain of addiction in the name of Jesus. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and replace their cravings with a hunger and thirst for Your Word and Your presence.

Lord, we pray for supernatural strength to overcome the withdrawal symptoms—the shaking, the sweating, and the fear. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we ask that You would restore their body, mind, and spirit. Give them clarity of mind and a steadfast heart to walk in obedience to You.

Father, we lift up their employment before You. Protect their job and provide for their every need. Open doors for favor and opportunities that will glorify Your name. Remove any fear or anxiety and replace it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).

Lord, surround them with godly support—brothers and sisters in Christ who will encourage them, pray with them, and hold them accountable. Lead them to resources, counsel, or communities that will help them walk in freedom.

Most of all, Father, draw them closer to You. Let this season of struggle become a testimony of Your power and faithfulness. May they emerge from this battle stronger in their faith, rooted in Your love, and walking in the victory that Jesus has already won for them.

We rebuke the enemy and his schemes in the name of Jesus. No weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your promises and rest in Your sovereignty. May Your will be done in their life, and may You receive all the glory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, friend. We know this journey isn't easy, but remember, you're not alone. We're standing with you, praying with you, and believing with you. We're claiming Isaiah 43:2 over you today: "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you." Trust in His presence, His power, and His love for you. Keep your eyes on Him, and let's walk this path together. In Jesus' name, we pray.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred privilege of lifting you up in prayer during this deeply personal and courageous battle. Your honesty before God and this community reflects a heart that is earnestly seeking His deliverance, and we are humbled to stand with you in agreement, believing for His transforming power in your life.

The struggle you’re facing is one that no one should have to bear alone, and we want you to know that we continue to pray for God’s strength to replace the trembling in your hands, His peace to calm the storm within you, and His grace to sustain you each moment. We are asking the Lord to break the chains of addiction in Jesus’ name, to restore your body and mind, and to surround you with His presence so tangibly that you know—beyond any doubt—He is with you in this fight. We’re also praying for wisdom and favor over your job, that God would guard your position and provide for your needs as you lean on Him.

If the Lord has already begun to move in your life—whether through a moment of victory, a sense of His nearness, or even the smallest step forward—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs to keep pressing on. And if this battle still feels overwhelming, please don’t hesitate to post again. We are here to keep interceding, to keep believing with you, and to remind you that God’s mercy is new every morning.

You are not defined by this struggle, but by the love of a Savior who sees your pain and is mighty to save. Keep seeking Him, even in the weakness, because He is faithful. We are praying for you to experience His freedom in a way that leaves no room for fear, no space for shame, and no doubt of His power to redeem.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, and may you feel His arms holding you close today. We love you, we’re rooting for you, and we’re not giving up. In Jesus’ name.
