Dear God please forgive me. Please help me stop drinking alcohol and smoking pot. Please stop the back and legs from hurting and please make me stop shaking and sweating from drinking alcohol. Please help me not damage my liver. I hope it's not too late. Please help me keep my job and our home. I'm sorry God please tell me that it will be ok

We come before the Lord with you in this moment of deep repentance and need, lifting you up in prayer and standing with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Your cry for help has reached the ears of the Father, who is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). It is never too late to turn to Him—His mercy is new every morning, and His grace is sufficient for you (Lamentations 3:22-23, 2 Corinthians 12:9). You have taken the first and most critical step by humbling yourself before God, and we rejoice with the angels in heaven over your repentance (Luke 15:10).

The struggles you face with alcohol and substance use are not beyond the power of Christ. The Bible tells us that no temptation has taken you except what is common to mankind, and God is faithful; He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear. With the temptation, He will also provide a way out so you can endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13). This is not a battle you must fight alone—Jesus is with you, and He has already overcome the world (John 16:33). Lean on Him fully, for apart from Him, we can do nothing, but through Him, we can do all things (John 15:5, Philippians 4:13).

Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and you are called to honor God with it (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). The pain, shaking, and sweating you experience are signs of the toll these substances have taken, but God is the Great Physician. He can restore your body, mind, and spirit as you surrender this struggle to Him. We pray for supernatural healing over your back, legs, liver, and entire body. May the Lord renew your strength like the eagle’s and restore what has been broken (Isaiah 40:31, Joel 2:25). Trust in Him with all your heart and do not rely on your own understanding; acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We also lift up your job and home to the Lord. He knows your needs before you ask, and He is your Provider (Matthew 6:8, Philippians 4:19). Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God (Philippians 4:6). He is able to sustain you and keep you in perfect peace as your mind stays fixed on Him (Isaiah 26:3). Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33).

Now is the time to take action in faith. Confess your struggle to trusted believers who can support and hold you accountable (James 5:16). Remove anything from your life that tempts you to return to these habits, and fill your mind with the Word of God. Meditate on Scripture day and night, for it is alive and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword (Joshua 1:8, Hebrews 4:12). Surround yourself with fellowship that encourages your walk with Christ, and avoid places or people that draw you back into sin (1 Corinthians 15:33).

If you have not already, we urge you to seek medical help for the physical withdrawal symptoms you are experiencing. God often works through doctors and professionals to bring healing, and there is no shame in asking for help. Wisdom is a gift from the Lord, and seeking counsel is a sign of strength, not weakness (Proverbs 11:14, 19:20).

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who has humbly turned to You in repentance. Lord, we thank You that You are a God of mercy, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. Forgive every sin, wash away every stain, and create in them a clean heart, renewing a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10).

We bind the strongholds of addiction in the name of Jesus and declare freedom over this life. Lord, break every chain of bondage to alcohol and substances. Fill the void with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the newness of life You have prepared for them (Romans 6:4). Heal their body from the damage that has been done—restore their liver, strengthen their back and legs, and calm the shaking and sweating. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we trust in Your restoring power.

Father, provide for their every need. Protect their job and home, and open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. Give them favor with their employers and peace in their household. Let them experience Your provision in ways that leave no doubt it is from Your hand.

Surround them with godly support—a community of believers who will walk alongside them, encourage them, and hold them accountable. Lead them to resources, counsel, and medical help as needed. Give them the strength to resist temptation and the wisdom to flee from it (1 Timothy 6:11).

Lord, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Replace their anxiety with trust, their fear with faith, and their despair with hope. Let them know deep in their spirit that You are with them, that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6).

We declare that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Let this season of struggle become a testimony of Your grace and power. Use their story to bring others to You, that they too may find freedom and healing in Your name.

In Jesus’ mighty and holy name, we pray. Amen.

Brother or sister, hold fast to the hope you have in Christ. The road ahead may not be easy, but it is worth it. Every day is a new opportunity to walk in victory. When you feel weak, remember that Christ’s strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Cling to Him, for He is your Rock and your Salvation (Psalm 62:2).

If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, now is the time. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). If you do this, you will have eternal life and the power of the Holy Spirit to walk in freedom.

We are standing with you in this fight. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). You are not alone—He is with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).

We're here with you, brother, every step of the way. We've been where you are, and we know the power of Jesus' love and grace. Keep holding on, keep fighting. It's one day at a time, one choice at a time. Remember, God is not surprised by your struggles, and He's not waiting for you to be perfect before He loves you. He loves you just as you are, and He's cheering you on every step of the way.

We pray for strength for your body, mind, and spirit. We pray for healing, for peace, for joy. We pray for God to fill you with His Holy Spirit, to guide you, to comfort you, to never leave you. We pray for God to give you the strength to resist temptation, to make healthy choices, to walk in freedom.

And brother, please, don't hesitate to reach out to us, to talk to us, to share your heart. We're here to listen, to encourage, to pray with you. You're not alone in this. Together, with Jesus, we can overcome anything.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Something I've seen work is searching your online map of choice for the nearest Adult & Teen Challenge, calling their number and asking for them to put you on their prayer board. There will be many there that have been sobered, cleaned and dried up to come to their senses, Lk 15:7, and are grateful, thankful, and willing to pray with pure, organic and raw faith for God to move in your life and anyone else you know. I also pray for your full and final deliverance, that you may run to Christ and not shrink back in fear at his appearing, 1 Jn 2:28, in Jesus The Alpha and Omega's Name, Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!
