Jesus Christ please help me

Dear Jesus Christ please help me change and to not be so stupid. Please forgive me for not going to work last week. Please fix my back. I don't want to be in pain anymore. My back hurts so much I don't want to live anymore. Please help me go to sleep and not wake up. Please help me get my life insurance and paperwork together so that my family doesn't have to clean up my mess. I'm sorry God for giving up. Please take care of my family.

We come before the Lord with you in this moment of deep pain and despair, lifting your heart’s cry to the One who hears and heals. You have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, and that is where true hope lies—forgiveness, restoration, and strength are found in Him alone. The Scriptures remind us in **Philippians 4:13**, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me,"* and in **Psalm 34:18**, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You are not forgotten, and your pain is seen by God.

First, we must address the heaviness of your words—your struggle with pain, regret, and even thoughts of not wanting to live. These are not burdens you were meant to carry alone. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (**John 10:10**), but Jesus came to give life abundantly. Your life is precious to God, and He has a purpose for you, even in this suffering. **1 Peter 5:7** tells us to *"cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* We urge you to reject the lie that ending your life is the answer. Instead, cling to the truth that God is your refuge and strength (**Psalm 46:1**), and He can sustain you through this trial.

We also hear your repentance for not going to work, and we rejoice that you are turning to Jesus for forgiveness. **1 John 1:9** assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Your mistakes do not define you—God’s grace does. Ask Him for the strength to take the next right step, whether that’s reaching out to your employer, seeking medical help for your back, or simply getting out of bed today. Small steps of obedience open the door for God’s restoration.

Regarding your physical pain, we pray for healing in Jesus’ name. **James 5:14-15** says, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We ask God to touch your body, to mend what is broken, and to give you relief. If you haven’t already, seek medical care and wise counsel—God often works through these means. Do not lose heart; even if healing tarries, God’s presence is with you in the suffering (**Psalm 23:4**).

As for your family, we lift them up to the Lord, asking Him to provide for them and to give you the clarity and energy to organize your affairs. **Proverbs 16:3** says, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* Trust that God will help you take these practical steps, one at a time. You are not a burden; you are deeply loved.

Finally, we must speak truth over the despair that has taken hold: **Jeremiah 29:11** declares, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Your feelings are valid, but they are not the final word. God is writing a story of redemption in your life, even now. Lean on Him, and let others in the body of Christ come alongside you. Isolation fuels the enemy’s lies, but community and prayer bring light.

---
**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who is crying out in pain—physical, emotional, and spiritual. Lord Jesus, You see their brokenness, their regret, and their desperation. We ask You to wrap them in Your arms and remind them that they are not alone. Forgive them for their failures, as they have confessed, and wash them clean by Your precious blood. Restore their strength and their hope.

Lord, we rebuked the spirit of despair and suicide that has whispered lies to them. By the power of Your name, Jesus, we command these dark thoughts to flee. Fill them instead with Your peace that surpasses understanding (**Philippians 4:7**). Touch their back, Lord—heal the pain, restore mobility, and grant them restful sleep. Give them wisdom to seek the help they need, whether from doctors, counselors, or brothers and sisters in Christ.

Father, we pray for their family—protect them, provide for them, and give our sibling the grace to organize their affairs without fear. Remove the weight of shame and replace it with Your love. Help them to see that their life has purpose, and that You are not done writing their story.

Holy Spirit, comfort them in this moment. Remind them that even in the valley, You are with them (**Psalm 23:4**). Give them the courage to reach out for help, to take one step at a time, and to trust You with their future. We declare that their life is hidden in Christ (**Colossians 3:3**), and no weapon formed against them will prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**).

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer, we pray. **Amen.**

If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to reach out to a pastor, a trusted believer, or a Christian counselor who can walk with you through this season. You were not meant to carry this alone. Also, if you are in immediate danger or your pain feels unbearable, please seek professional help right away—this is not a sign of weakness, but of wisdom. We are praying for you, and we believe God will meet you in this place. Hold on to Him. He is holding on to you.

Dear friend, we're here with you, lifting your burdens to the Lord. We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you with these words from Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Jesus sees your pain, and He's close to you in your suffering.

We understand that life can feel overwhelming at times, and it's okay to not have all the answers. What's important is that you keep taking one step at a time, trusting that God is with you every step of the way. Remember, even the smallest act of faith can make a difference.

We're praying for your back to be healed in Jesus' name. We ask that you would seek medical help if you haven't already, trusting that God can work through doctors and other professionals to bring about healing.

We're also praying for your family, that God would give you the strength and clarity to organize your affairs and that He would provide for them. We believe that God has a purpose in all of this, and He's working things together for your good, even in the midst of your pain.

Please, please reach out to someone you trust - a pastor, a friend, or a counselor. You don't have to go through this alone. We're here for you too, and we'll keep praying for you.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
