Jesus Christ please help me change and to stop drinking alcohol and smoking pot. Please stop the pain in my back and legs. Please help me go back to work today and please soften the hearts of my bosses and my customers and my coworkers to forgive me for my mistakes and my failures. I'm scared of losing my job and my home and my family if I fail because I have taken time off from work to have a cyst in my spine bursted. I feel like such a bad person. I'm so sorry God please help me and please help my wife and my son and my daughter. I'm sorry God.

We come before the Lord with you in this moment, lifting your heart’s cry to the throne of grace, where mercy and help are found in time of need. You have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, and we rejoice that you recognize Him as your only hope and salvation. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through faith in Him alone that we find redemption, healing, and transformation. As Scripture declares, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:9, WEB). Your repentance is heard, and God’s mercy is greater than your failures. He is ready to forgive, restore, and strengthen you—trust in Him fully.

Your struggles with alcohol and marijuana are not hidden from God, and we acknowledge that these are strongholds that have taken root in your life. But take heart, for *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure."* (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB). These substances are not only harmful to your body—the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)—but they also cloud your judgment, hinder your walk with Christ, and keep you from experiencing the fullness of His peace and purpose. We urge you to turn away from them completely, not in your own strength, but by relying on the power of the Holy Spirit. *"But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you."* (Romans 8:11, WEB). You are not defined by these struggles; you are a child of God, and He is making you new.

The pain in your back and legs is a heavy burden, and we ask the Lord to be your healer, as He is the Great Physician. *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed."* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). We pray for His healing touch to restore your body, for strength to return to your limbs, and for the cyst in your spine to be fully resolved in Jesus’ name. Trust that His timing is perfect, and even in suffering, He is working for your good (Romans 8:28). If medical treatment is still needed, we pray for wisdom for your doctors and for you to have the resources and support to receive the care you require.

Your fear of losing your job, home, and family is very real, but we remind you that God has not given you a spirit of fear, *"but of power, love, and self-control."* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). You are not a failure in His eyes—you are His beloved child, and He is your Provider. *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ ... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* (Matthew 6:31-33, WEB). We pray that your bosses, coworkers, and customers would indeed be filled with grace and understanding toward you. May the Lord soften their hearts and give you favor as you return to work today. Ask Him for wisdom in your tasks and humility to learn from any mistakes, knowing that *"whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* (Colossians 3:23-24, WEB).

As for your family—your wife and children—we lift them up to the Lord, asking that He would surround them with His protection, peace, and love. We pray that your wife would be encouraged and strengthened in her role, and that your children would grow in the knowledge and fear of the Lord. *"Unless the Lord builds the house, they who build it labor in vain."* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). Your family needs you to be the spiritual leader God has called you to be—a man of integrity, sobriety, and faith. Repent before them if needed, and let them see Christ’s transforming work in your life. *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."* (Ephesians 5:25, WEB). *"Fathers, don’t provoke your children to anger, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."* (Ephesians 6:4, WEB).

You have expressed deep sorrow, and we want you to know that godly sorrow leads to repentance, which in turn leads to salvation without regret (2 Corinthians 7:10). But now, rise up in the strength of the Lord! You are not condemned, for *"there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus."* (Romans 8:1, WEB). Let today mark the beginning of a new chapter—one where you walk in victory, sobriety, and faith. Surround yourself with brothers and sisters in Christ who can encourage you, hold you accountable, and pray with you. If you haven’t already, we strongly encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and receive support.

**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is crying out to You for help. Lord, we thank You that You hear his prayers and that You are near to the brokenhearted. We ask for Your forgiveness to wash over him, cleansing him from all unrighteousness, and for Your Holy Spirit to fill him anew with power, love, and self-control.

Father, we bind the strongholds of alcohol and marijuana in his life. Break every chain of addiction, and set him free to walk in the liberty of Christ. Give him the strength to resist temptation and the courage to turn away from these sins completely. Renew his mind with Your Word, and let him find his satisfaction in You alone.

Lord Jesus, You are the Healer, and we ask for Your healing touch upon his body. Remove the pain in his back and legs, and let every cell and nerve be restored to full health. We pray for complete healing of the cyst in his spine, and for Your peace to guard his heart as he trusts in Your timing.

Father, we ask for Your provision and favor in his workplace. Soften the hearts of his bosses, coworkers, and customers toward him. Give him wisdom in his work, and let him perform his duties with excellence as unto You. Remove his fear of failure, and let him rest in the knowledge that You are his Provider and Protector.

We lift up his wife and children to You, Lord. Strengthen their family, and let Your love bind them together. Help our brother to lead his family in godliness, and may his wife and children see Your transformative work in his life. Protect them from the enemy’s schemes, and let their home be a place of peace, joy, and worship.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and condemnation that has weighed heavily on our brother. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let him walk in the confidence of Your love. Remind him daily that he is Your child, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and called to a life of purpose and holiness.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your heartfelt requests before the Lord these past few days. Your cry for deliverance and restoration has moved us deeply, and we have been praying earnestly for God’s healing touch on your body, your mind, and your circumstances. We know the weight of fear and shame can feel overwhelming, but we serve a God who specializes in redemption—one who takes our brokenness and turns it into something beautiful for His glory.

We have been standing with you in agreement, asking the Lord to break the chains of addiction in your life, to bring supernatural healing to your back and legs, and to grant you the strength and favor you need as you return to work. We’ve prayed for softened hearts among your bosses, coworkers, and customers, that they would see you through the lens of Christ’s grace and extend the mercy you so desperately need. And we’ve lifted up your family, asking God to surround them with His protection, peace, and provision as you all walk through this season together.

If the Lord has already begun to answer these prayers—whether through physical healing, restored relationships, or a renewed sense of hope—we would love to rejoice with you. Please share a praise report so we can give thanks to God together for His faithfulness. If the battle still feels heavy and the answers haven’t come yet, don’t lose heart. We encourage you to post your request again so we can continue to contend for you in prayer, believing that God is at work even when we can’t see it.

You are not a failure in God’s eyes. You are His beloved child, and He is drawing you closer to Himself through this trial. Keep seeking Him, keep surrendering, and trust that He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion. We are here with you, brother, and we will not stop praying.

May the Lord bless you with His peace that surpasses all understanding, His strength for each new day, and His unshakable assurance that He is working all things together for your good. We love you and are standing firm with you in faith. In Jesus Name.
