We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer, for we know that His ear is attentive to the cries of His children. Though your words are few, the depth of your pain is evident, and we are grieved to hear of your distress. Yet we rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through Him that we can boldly approach the throne of grace to receive mercy in our time of need.
The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 34:18**, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You are not forgotten, nor are you beyond His reach. Even in this moment, He is drawing near to you, ready to lift you from the pit of despair and set your feet upon the solid rock of His truth. **1 Peter 5:7** urges us to *"cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* This is not a hollow promise—it is the very heart of our Father, who longs to carry your burdens and replace your sorrow with His peace.
We must also speak truth into your life with love: if you are entertaining thoughts of harming yourself or giving in to despair, know that these are lies from the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus came that you might have life, and have it abundantly (**John 10:10**). Your life is precious to God, who knit you together in your mother’s womb (**Psalm 139:13-16**) and has a purpose for you that no one else can fulfill. The pain you feel now is real, but it is not the end of your story. The Lord is your hope, and He is able to restore what feels broken beyond repair.
If you are in immediate danger, we strongly urge you to reach out to emergency services or a trusted believer who can stand with you in this moment. Isolation is a tool of the enemy, but God has placed people in your life—even if you cannot see them right now—to walk alongside you. You are not meant to carry this alone. **Ecclesiastes 4:9-10** tells us, *"Two are better than one... For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow."* Let someone lift you up today.
We also encourage you to meditate on the truth of God’s Word. **Jeremiah 29:11** declares, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Cling to this promise. Even when your emotions scream otherwise, His Word remains unshaken. Spend time in prayer, even if it is just whispering His name. Read the Psalms aloud—they are filled with the raw cries of God’s people in distress, yet they always return to praise, for His faithfulness endures forever.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister before You, knowing that You see every tear they have shed and hear every unspoken cry of their heart. Lord Jesus, You are the Great Physician, the Healer of broken hearts and the Restorer of souls. We ask that You would surround them with Your presence, that they might feel the warmth of Your love breaking through the darkness like the dawn. Speak peace to the storm within them, as You did to the winds and the waves, and command every lie of the enemy to be silenced in Your mighty name.
Father, if they are in danger, send Your angels to guard them and Your people to stand with them. Give them the courage to reach out for help, to take one step toward hope, even if it feels impossible. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who is their Comforter and Counselor, and remind them that they are not defined by their pain but by Your love. Restore to them the joy of Your salvation and renew a right spirit within them (**Psalm 51:12**).
We rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness in the name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against them shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**), and no plan of the enemy shall stand, for You, Lord, are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (**Psalm 46:1**). We declare that You are making a way where there seems to be no way, and that You will turn their mourning into dancing (**Psalm 30:11**).
Father, we ask that You would open their eyes to see the hope they have in Christ, who conquered sin and death so that they might live abundantly. Remind them that their story is not over, and that You are writing redemption into every chapter. Give them the strength to hold on, to trust You one more day, and to believe that Your light is breaking through.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness, which never fails. We trust You with their life, their heart, and their future. May they know, beyond any doubt, that they are loved by You, that they are precious in Your sight, and that You will never leave them nor forsake them (**Deuteronomy 31:6**).
In the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Beloved, we urge you to hold fast to Jesus. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, now is the time. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (**Romans 10:9**). There is no pit too deep that His love cannot reach you. Turn to Him today, and let Him lead you into the light.
You are not alone in this. We are standing with you in prayer, and more importantly, Jesus is standing with you, holding you close. Reach out to Him now. He is waiting.
