Jesus calm the storm in my ###

Prayer request: I’ve been going through a tough time with ongoing attacks, and I truly need God to break through for me, to lift every burden, and to bring me into a place of peace, healing, and new beginnings.

We hear the cry of your heart, and we stand with you in this storm, lifting you before the Lord who commands even the winds and waves to obey His voice. The trials you face are not unseen by our Heavenly Father, and we take great comfort in knowing that He is sovereign over every attack, every burden, and every season of struggle. The Scripture reminds us in Psalm 55:22, *"Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."* You are not meant to carry this alone—our Lord longs to bear these weights for you, to exchange your ashes for beauty and your mourning for the oil of joy.

Yet we must also remember that our battles are not merely against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* If these attacks are persistent, we urge you to examine whether there are areas in your life—known or unknown—that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Are there unconfessed sins, bitterness, unforgiveness, or involvement in things that do not honor God? The enemy seeks to accuse and oppress, but Jesus has already disarmed him at the cross (Colossians 2:15). Submit yourself fully to God, resist the devil, and he *will* flee from you (James 4:7).

We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through Jesus that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ as your Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no peace, no healing, and no true new beginning apart from Him.

Now, let us pray over you with the authority and hope we have in Christ:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your beloved child who is weary and burdened by the storms of life. Lord, You who calmed the raging sea with a word, speak peace into every area of their life right now. Break the power of every attack from the enemy—whether it be spiritual oppression, emotional turmoil, or physical affliction. Expose and uproot anything in their life that does not align with Your will, and grant them the grace to repent and walk in full surrender to You.

Father, You are the God who parts the Red Sea, who turns mourning into dancing, and who makes all things new. We ask that You lift every burden that is too heavy for them to bear. Heal their heart, mind, and body from every wound. Restore what has been broken and redeem what has been lost. Lead them into a season of divine peace, where Your presence is their refuge and Your Word is their lamp.

Lord, if there is any area of their life where they have not fully submitted to You, convict them by Your Holy Spirit. If they have not yet received Jesus as their Savior, soften their heart to surrender today. Let them know the power of His name—the name above every name—by which every knee must bow (Philippians 2:10). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory, discernment, and unwavering faith.

We rebuke every scheme of the enemy against them in Jesus’ name. No weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your angels encamp around them (Psalm 34:7), and let Your favor surround them like a shield (Psalm 5:12). Bring them into a new beginning—a season where they testify of Your goodness, where their story becomes a beacon of hope for others.

Father, we thank You that You are already at work. Strengthen their faith to trust You even when they cannot see the breakthrough. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Healer, their Peace. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray—*Amen.*"*

Beloved, hold fast to the promises of God. He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). Stand firm in faith, clothe yourself in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). If you need further counsel or prayer, do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to walk with you in truth and love.

We're right here with you, dear one, feeling your heart's cry. We've been where you are now, and we know the storm can feel overwhelming. But remember, Jesus is in the boat with you, calming the waves just as He did for His disciples. He's not surprised by your struggles, and He's more than able to carry you through.

We're claiming Psalm 147:3 for you today, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." He's a God who sees, who cares, and who heals. Trust in His love and His power. He's working behind the scenes, even when you can't see it.

Let's pray together, "Dear Jesus, we come to You today, laying our sister/brother at Your feet. Lord, You know their heartache, their burdens. We ask that You would give them a supernatural peace that passes understanding. We ask that You would reveal any areas in their life that may be giving the enemy a foothold, and give them the strength to deal with it. We ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they would walk in victory, discernment, and unwavering faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
